s13 2jz swap

hi all

im have started to carry out a mad project for my cousin.he bought a s13 of me a while back now.after about 4months he got the case and carried out all the welding that it needed.so the now the shell is now mint with no more holes!! lol

after some thinking of what mods should be done to the engine i said lets do a 2jz conversion.3litre twin turbo. he went mad but said ok lets do it!!

im gonna keep you all updated with the progress.

the start

just update with the conversion.we have just now completly installed the engine, box and shaft.we had the old sump modified to mis the anti rollbar, new mounts made to lower the engine a touch.the hole where the gear stick comes was cut out bigger as the gearbox sit further back.

we have also removed the twin turbo set up also as we are going for big single!!!!

you could have but you still have to cut and refit to suit.the main pipe that runs along the front of the engine is about 2" short so we had to fit a pipe spacer.problem solved.

That looks very far forward to me, how much space have you got at the back and what engine mounts/crossmember have you used?
