update

got hammers and chisels out, once the brother got wind of a bit of distruction about to take place he was well on for giving me a hand. check out the big happy head on him.

and then hours later not so happy but sticking at it.

eventualy we got it down to this.


so all that was left to do wa paint it, so thats what i did.

yep sound deadening.it's a bit of a bitch to remove but you wouldn't believe the weight of the stuff when all gathered up and put in a bag, so should be worth the effort

a lil something i found when stripping it

not sure if this is an uprated/upgraded ecu or what. it has a kakimoto racing sticker on it. dont see why someone would pop a stiker on it and then cover it up with the kick pannel. has anyone come accross one of these before that could maybe tell me more about it?


the other label on it is a nissan remanufactured blaah blaah! sorry about poor quality pictures there off my phone.

cheers.... both. i used hammerite with a brush for the front end where it needs to be more dureable ie people getting in and out etc.... and then rattle canned the back end.

update

filled up the holes that were left when i removed the spoiler and ariel etc.




just quick sprayed it up to keep it protected from the atmosphere for now

update

right so got the dash out


then assembled the cage to make sure it all went together before it goes into the car


dash ready for marking and cutting to accomodate the cage


couldnt help meself ,had to take a snap of the old girl
