thegosson 180sx drift project

hello everyone just picked up a 180sx today as a drift project. should be fun kitting out and setting up for drifting . i'll try to keep this thread updated as often as possible.

well its not going on the road. its for track use only so the sky's the limit. hope to go all out full drift spec.

stripping

started stripping the car out and found this under the driver side rear speaker mounting bracket.


anyone know what it is and do i need it?

wind deflector removal

want rid of those hidious wind deflectors so ripped one off but is this part of the deflector aswell or does it need to stay on the car?

no cause i only got it in out of the rain this week so should be able to get stuck into it now. whats the best way to get the sound deadening out, apart from dry ice cause i dont think you can just buy that over the counter? is it worth taking it out, would it make enough of a difference to make it worth doing?
