new drift project

bought this not long after selling my r33 but with riseing fuel costs i was going to sell it a month back in a moment of madness but now thank god ive managed to but a 2.5 td omega that i run on cooking oil so i dont have to sell it anymore.
and now i have found something to use it for DRIFTING !!! and hopefully still get some fun out of it.
when i bought it it already had a good bit of stuff on it but its still a bit scruffy but not the worst ive seen..
some pics as it is at the min...




wots fitted to it at the min
front mont intercooler dont know wot make
front strut brace
drifty towing eye on front
gtr bonnet and lip
new 17s and i got the std wheels spare
coil overs on front
some kind of after market mirrors
snap off steering wheel
tommi water temp/oil gauge
sbc boost controller
apexi front pipe/decat/system
exhaust quiteing pull flap
1.5 way diff as i was told but i locks really easy
hicas lock out bar
and i got a new drift style front bumper with it as the one on its stuffed

over the next few weeks ill fit the bits ive collected up of the folks of here
apexi safc
gtr injectors
resistor box to run the injectors from riseing sun
z32 afm
gtr fuel pump
and a rb 25 hybrid turbo
fill a cage 6 point/harness,seat,batt cut off
will post up pics of the work as i go along

from working at it ive found its been used for drifting before it has had a cage fitted before
fitted the gtr fuel pump was real handy
the std one is the silver one

next this weekend im fitting my apexi afc will get more pics up after the weekend

setting on the rear of the apexi afc are number 4 on the dail and pin 1 up 2 up 3 down 4 and 5 6 up 7 down 8 up thats for a rb20 det

got my apexi s afc fitted today and was easyer than i first thought
on safc wires were as follows for this type its a pretty stone age one but sure..
red/ power
green/ rpm
black/ earth
yellow/ air floe ecu side
white air flow car side

fitted it out of the way in the glove box heres some pics





next job ive to do is fit the resistor box and gtr injectors
just waiting on the resistor box from riseing sun then first chance i get there going in
anyone any tips on setting up the safc would i need to fit a wide band lamba sensor?? or is it just a case of going to the nearest rolling road to get it set up????

[got my resistor pack to run my gtr injectors so started fitting them finally heres what i have done so far just to wire up the resistor pack and fit the gtr injectors
found how to wire it up here

done a bit more tonight got the resister pack wired up and the injectors fitted just need to make a gasket now for the manifold were it splits.




i know the red tapes a bit harsh but its only temp ill be covering it at some point with black..

Well thats my injectors done car all built back up and running to day after work when i first started it it ran like a pig but once i turned down the settings on the safc it ran great and reved out fine so at least i know the safc is working great..not going to drive it until after next friday till i get it set up at a i autosport..heres the pics of it built up




going to get under the bonnet tidyed up next inner gaurds painted etc maybe tomorow if it stays dry lol
