Link to an engine for sale on the skyline owners club, RB25DET.
I sold him that engine for £1600 as a swap package, its an absolute bargain at that price he also has the wiring loom and ecu which I am sure you could persuade him to sell.

The engine sounded sweet when it was in car, we did a full compression test on it before it was removed to. PM if you want any other info about it

That seems like a really good price for a RB25, go for it. Wish I had some money for a RB engine.

Possibly. Not sure whether I will be there for it to be honest.

Although I would like to help

Well I collected my new spangly engine today and I am totally AMAZED!!!

Ok there is 1 years worth of dust on the engine where it was sat as a spare but that was to be expected... wipe off the dust an I kid you not, it looks almost new!

A real credit to the guy who had the car. Worth every penny!

So I have everything needed now for my RB25DET conversion and I will be delivering it all to Jamie @ Garage Mac tomorrow.

Massive thanks to Jamie for looking after my car for me while I've been hunting for a new engine, he's pulled the old lump out in antisipation of receiving a donor-top bloke, your efficiancy is astonishing.

Would also like to thank you for your help a few weeks ago when I broke the intercooler, I don't think I know anyone else who would have stepped in to help like you did.

Also picking up my new Do-Luck front bumper tomorrow from Garage-D so once again I will have a nice looking car. Cheers guys for sourcing and spraying this up for me Looking forward to seeing it on the car

All in all a hectic evening but soooo worth it.

Looking forward to having my car back

I delivered the engine at GARAGE-MAC yesterday. Proud that I managed to get it there in one piece lol.

All set to start on it Monday-Whole ABS and Hicas systems are coming out, all above goodies are being fitted along with the new '25 lump. Had a nice long chat with J and we've been seeing how "all out" we can go in the short time we have before next weekend.

Picked up the Do-Luck front bumper yesterday and was horrified at the fit..absolute rubbish, but hat's off to Martin he's going to come to see me monday and fit it for me-when in all fairness he is far from obliged to do, more effort than can be said for some (I personally haven't got a clue how he's going to get it on-as it looks ridiculously too big, but I guess this is what happens when you don't test fit and send it off to be sprayed!!!)

Watch this space with regards to ever getting that sorted.

The rest of the car is coming along nicely-I am going to be @ GARAGE-MAC all day Monday to help with engine work in the morning and then bumper carnage in the afternoon

Massive thanks to B for trying to sort out this mess, must be a real headache but I want you to know your liasing with everyone is greatly appreciated.

I will update the thread with picture progress as soon as I have a chance

Needless to say I am super excited Car should be pretty savage by the weekend

This car should be pretty awsome, i am very jelous of the 25, maybe it was for the best that your old lump went bang.

Will it be ready for USC?

Thanks Gareth-it will indeed be ready for USC. And since you were so kind to let me use your car at the last dwyb I'll return the favor at the next dwyb.

Yeah I think it was a good thing that the engine blew-I've got an absolutely awesome engine and lumps like that don't crop up too often

makes a change that I've had some results recently..My luck had to change sooner or later

Why would you put a 2500 coil cover on an rb20 though?
