Bex's RB25DET ENGINED R32 GTS-T

Well, thought it about time to start a project thread realy, as I have owned it a while now and have recently got it back from the work it had done whilst resident at GARAGE-D.

I bought this car last year-after the last one kindly got written off by a mate, who was nice enough to hit me up the rear and then refrain from telling me he wasn't insured till the next day... anyway I ended up having to go out and fund another car all over again, and when I found this one..had to have it.

Was basically standard allbeit a few minor bits, although it had a lovely AEM FMIC setup, which has had to be replaced since.
When it landed it had the following:

Earthing Kit
AEM Front Mount Intercooler
De-Cat
Apexi Stainless system
Mines ECU
Nismo Lip-Rear Spoiler
GTR Bonnet
GTR Grill
GTR Headlamps
Various Rev/Oil/Water Gauges
MASSIVE Rev Gauge
Cusco Front Strut Brace
Cusco Rear Strut Brace
Cusco coilovers front & Nismo OEM replacement shocks on the rear - which made for a pretty horrific ride...this one really lived up to it's "liner" alias. Made you feel sick

I think after about 2 days of owning it I took off the gay GTR spoiler, fitted my MOMO steering wheel out of my old GTS-T & Fitted HKS Induction...oh and of course fitted Lex's Rota's before he could nick them back ... I had to do some tinkering lol

So, after spending a fair few months at Mr Smiths, I had the following done:

Replace Cam Sensor
Nismo Fuel Pressure Regulator Fitted (although I need to get it setup)
Re-con turbo fitted (as the old one sounded a little worse for wear)
Apexi exhaust swapped for my other Apexi - I didn't like the look of the other one
Cusco Oil Catch Tank plumbed in
Handbrake Adjustment
Subframe Locking Collars
Steering service (power steering was non existant...now it's a little better)

I have taken it to 1 DWYB day and 1 x Demo @ Japshow 08 and they are the only 2 x times I've ever really driven it.. but had much fun and intend on doing much more skidding

Fitted my Apex snap-off boss when I arrived at Japshow...handy piece of kit when you are a little short-it helps reach the steering wheel

A little while ago (about a week or so I can't remember now) my buddy from Fed-Ex knocked on my door..
Since then I have had some TEIN HE coilovers with pillowball top mounts freshly shipped from JP sat by my front door. So today (Monday) I thought I'd have a go at fitting them

All a success and my GOD!!! what an amaaaaaaaazing transformation Took me 3 hours to fit and set them up (not bad I think for a bird and 1st timer)

(Oh and massive thanks to Nev @ F1MOTO for the loaning of all tools I needed to complete the job and the helping hand when lifting the wheel assey up so I could screw the top mounts up ) I have yet to grow some spare arms so yours came in handy-thanks dude

I am hoping to have my BRIDE seat mounts fabbed up tomorrow at F1MOTO so that I can relieve my rib cage of the bruising incurred from the last 2 skid days.. If that is the case I will also fit my screamer pipe

I have an EXEDY clutch on the way (courtesy of CG Motorsport - thanks Linda) and that will be fitted as soon as it arrives.

I am shortly going to be putting an order in with Driftworks for some more parts (mainly polybushes / steering parts etc) but until then I'll try and get the pictures up of what I've already done...
The minor bit's inc bushes are the next thing on the list to do, (and definately a Hicas Lock-off bar...!!!) then I'll give my car to Mr Saddler @ FCTuning to tinker with the mapping/ECU.

Trying to get this BDC Spec for next year, as I'm hoping to join in with BDC seat-time if an opportunity arises

For now...pics.. I'll update more in a bit (once I've found the lead for my camera)

Ciao

And doing what it's built for:

Oh and Lex, you have my HKS Circle earth baby-so don't forget to pick up my Dampachi Doll for me when you get the Harness etc

Fair trade lol..

Sam, I did a thankyou thread when that was done like a year ago But I'll say thankyou again...lol

This is new car

Regards to bumper it's suspect Top Secret???

Do-Luck one going on though
Thanks to all comments lol

I fitted the Bride Bucket seat today at Nev's (F1Moto/DriftMoto) again thanks for letting me use your tools and for fabbing the brackets Thanks to Matt for fitting my screamer pipe-it sounded the tit's, until I floored it and put the car into limp mode

Pretty sure it's because the Lambda sensor wasn't connected-guessing reconnecting it with a fuel pressure regulator that's not setup isn't a great combo...

So.... another productive day. Hopefully I'll sort out the lack of turbine powaaaaaaaaaaaz by tomorrow

Oh I also washed it, as in the time i've not seen it the only water the car saw was rain..

Nice one! Was good to see you giving this a proper time of it at the last DWYB too, pity you're not there tomorrow (unless you're popping up in the afternoon?).

I will be there all day tomorrow in my super laggy car lol.

I found out that the screamer isn't allowing my wastgate to properly open/close and needs a little ahem ... adjusting

Reset ECU and disconnected sensor thats back to normal now too

I won't be able to skid it very well but ho hum-it's all seat time and practice

You'll hear me coming a mile off lol

I will update with pictures as soon as I've found the damn lead

Looks sweet!

Are they different wheels on the back at pod? Look like they could use a couple of spacers on them.

I should get to one of those DWYB days really, they look like a good laugh!
