time for an update

my 4 door

got it as a bear ish shell from pete in warrington

no suspension, wheels-
so 1st job was take my complete sub frame from my freshly broken 2 door 32 and stick it on on his drive so we could at least stick it on the trailer

got it home (its home, my workshop)

and it looked like this

so few hours/ days of tidying and sorting-

found what i had and needed.
1st job i did was finish what pete had started- painting and cleaing the shell

i;m not a mega fussy person, but some reason i spent hours cleaning and painting this thing, (underneath) must of been bored

so then stuck it back together with the few parts it had, and the complete 2 door, which was all over the floor

braided lines, 3 stainless steel zorst, (Cat back is goosed, but it'l do for now,) trust down pipe

some jap gas shocks with -40mm springs

so got it to a rolling shell,

then had to stop and paint a mates s14 silvia- back to it

we then ( got help from a mate) stuck the engine and box in.

did this complete with loom, althought there was a loom in the car, we thought it was little easyer to leave it plugged into the engine and replug the car.

standard rb20det
nothing at all special.
i didnt even clean it. just stuck it in

got it running. fine

hoping to go rb25/26/30 at some point- but for now, i'll probly just tart it up a little, some paint, shiney manifold and turbo- but that have to wait

oh and the joy of having your own workshop is mega- a 4 post lift makes every job a little nicer, and u dont get wet when it rains!

so next up nicked a set of s14 seats out of mates s14 when he got r32 gtr seats, mod'ed the rails and stuck them in

have just sourced some s14 leather fronts

have got both gtr and gtst rears, but not sure which i'm gonna use- might look for a proper 4 door set of seats- as they will fit nicer, and this is going to be my road car

will finish this after work!
