Passat Prodrft in Moscow

All greetings. I from Russia. b3club.ru
Has decided to show the project too.
A trade wind at me 3 years, much that has been made.

Tuning Show Motor Park in Moscow 2008







But this year has decided to make of it drift car..
Swap rb25det Skyline R33





Front: Nissan 300zx 4 piston brakes
Rear: Nissan 300zx 2 piston brakes


Transmission rb20det


Work goes at full speed. If it will be interesting to you, I can and spread all process further.
Why passat? Because such still nobody did and I love VW.

I think the interesting and unusual project will turn out

what you desided to do with front subframe? do a fully new one or changing old?

could you make a pic of front arms?

Front subframe is from Skyline too. With changes.

Thanks. I make car both for drift and for everyday riding. Everything will be reasonably.

Best advice i can give you is to put in an RB25 large casing gearbox right from the offset. If you don't you will be kicking yourself as soon as you break the 300hp/300ftlb mark.

RB20 gearboxes are the same as S13 CA18/S14 SR20 gearboxes etc. Effectivly, they are similar gearsets that the nissan bluebird had and they be built of cheese.

Coupling, flywheel and basket will be from rb25

Yeah, on a track car if you drive it like a granny

In the real world, a small casing nissan box fails on a drift car at anything much over 300ftlbs if your driving it properly.

Trust us. We know. We have broken enough of them.

Ok. It's rather difficult to find the transmission from RB25DET in Russia. That's why many people install exactly from rb20. I'll install this one initially. If break, I'll change it. Thanks.
