Scratches remain?? Is that not causing you sleepness nights or have you been on anti brain aids therapy?

Nice bracketry as always and super tidy for a used drift car though

Manifold should be here any day now Turbo was ordered today. I need to go pick up the 740cc injectors and I'm waiting to hear from JDM Garage about some fuel fittings for the Aeromotive FPR.

Once the manifold and turbo are here the car will be off to Longlife in Caerphilly to get a one off exhaust made from the turbo back... with the brief : "It needs to be as loud, if not louder than it was!" I've given up caring about the neighbours now

Chapman's HX35 doesnt do anything until 4500-5000rpm and that's with cams and tuner tricks on an SR20!!

Norfy has the same issue - no low down boost also on an SR

Once up on boost it rocks - but then dont most turbos

god knows what one would be like on a CA........

But on an RB it should be sweet as

Yeh, I've heard mixed reviews on the HX35 too, but usually on the lower capacity engines. I've heard good things about them on 1jz's so hopefully that'll translate well to the RB25. Time will tell, it should be a damn sight better than the junk that was on there and even that made me smile!

I've got a HKS external wastegate that was used with the old turbo, I can't remember what size it is off the top of my head though.

Hopefully yeh, it'll be rapid.

Yeh! I'm having a massive head scratcher at the moment though. I've got the manifold on and sat the t04s on there just to get an idea of what'll need to go where... the t04 hits the camcover already and I'm not sure how different the HX35 is going to be!

Next problem is the intercooler pipework, I'm trying to figure it out using the standard RB25 plenum but christ thats giving me a headache, I'm just wondering whether to just go for a cheap Greddy copy plenum... but doing that will mean that I have to relocate the battery too.. arrrgghhhhh... shitbags.. all in 3 weeks.

Right, instead of buying a cheap chinese Greddy replica plenum I'm going to get the standard one modified. Getting a Greddy type would mean having to relocate the battery and move stuff around. I've now whipped the top half of the standard inlet off and I'll be taking it to be modded tomorrow hopefully. Makes much more sense.

I've also attacked the rear end and whipped the offside rear hub off to change the studs to some longer ones... trouble is the H&R studs I have that are actually boxed as "Nissan" don't bloody fit! So I need to get some more on Monday. Gay as fuck! Ah well.

Ryan, no I won't be at Llandow on Wednesday unfortunately. I'm still waiting for lots of stuff to arrive for the car and it still needs an exhaust made up too..

Mike, yeh I'm planning on a 16mm spacer on the rear but I'm going to need to smash the inner arches to bits I think. There's already marks on the inner arches where the 18x9.5j et12 with a 5mm spacer have been rubbing so I'll need a lot more arch work to get the 18x10j et18 with a 16mm spacer to fit!
