First Forray into the World of Jap... S14a

Bit Scary but i bit the bullet a few weeks ago and got myself an s14a after a few months deliberation...

i just thought fuck it why not, and put all my vw's and parts upforsale. there really wasnt any going back



would of loved something shit ugly and big but it was going to be my only car so it needed to be shiney and half respectable for work n that.... eventually after seeing a few nasty s13's i knew it had to be a 14a. i mean i REALLY wanted a ps13, but wernt great value for money.

Ended up with a fairly decent one that might be familiar to some of ya

After a nice drivers seat, wheel and some coilovers now.... its great fun tho - not regretting it atall!

Welcome Stanton, judging by your past you should getting two things very right about that S14a.

1.) Ride height
2.) Wheel fitment

Please don't let us down, the scene has transcended into balloon spec tyres on 18"s with arch gap. Viva la revolution!

Seriously, just apply VW 'rules' to your S14a. Stock-ish bodywork, on its arse COMPLETELY, wide wheels sticking out of the arches with camber. Nothing more.

believe me guys the catastrophic ride height is killing me! its got nismo suspension on atm so if anyone wants that let me know - not sure what its worth so you might get a steal haha

theres a few odds and ends i HAVE to do before xmas that are sapping the cash right now, needs new front discs and the calipers need refurbing... had to get some spares to refurb so i can still get about. only small things but its all £££

im really after some work meisters in 9 and 9.5/10 x17. so if anyone knows of any... holla

the wheels on it now are ok, but they aint nuttin major. trying to resist polishing the outers and colour coding the centres. i chat shit tho, my mind could change at any point.... fuck knows where this could go haha

liked the fact it wasnt a touring and didnt have the skirts or any spats on it, just stock as a rock and a solid colour so i can spray it myself with a can.... fuck paying anybody to do any work atall on my cars

they were 15x9's with 195 45 tyres on and the magical et of -19 without spacers, had 10mm spacers on the rear so et-29

Can we have the photo of the white mk2 when something on the rear broke and you ended up with insane camber please? (it had the white ATS classics on at the time....)

The best S14 ever made popped on here once. It had a roofrack with spot lights fitted. Please match or better that; snorkel air intake and winch perhaps.
