Picked this up from Mike (BORING) yesterday evening:

Never in my life have I driven so far with such a massive grin on my face

Toyota 1.6 engine with 75bhp, 4 speed manual, rear wheel drive (of course), taxed and MoT'd until next month, for £200

It's at my brother's garage for an MoT hopefully before Christmas.

Plans - do the arches, wheel spacers, fit better tyres, lower springs, weld diff, fit a radio that can pick up FM, cruise around being the pimp daddy

Sounds like the same silly smile I had when I had that Charmant I bought off that old boy for 40quid.
1.3 but revvy as fuck, amazing handbrake, was great fun for 30miles and loving it until it caught fire on the M5 halfway home and I spent the next few hours running from the Police thru fields fugitive style...

That looks a LOT sounder than the Charmant did though!

I need a winter skid shitbox, just need to make room, the S2000 is filling up valuable driveway space!

Nope, we stuck it straight into my brother's garage, its going for an MoT tomorrow to see if it needs anything to pass, give me the chance to work on it over christmas

Not wanting to soil Bobbys sale but if you need a AE86 front subframe, back axle, prop, box, shocks (and hubs) so you can coolify said Carina then I know of a tatty AE86 thats local to you and prime for breaking. What you dont use you would make back selling off the spares and ting.

It was ridiculous, its amazing the manpower they put in to finding someone who has ran away and left a Charmant shaped blazing inferno on the M5 at 11 at night

Ran for about 1.5 miles in pitch black through fields and woods alongside the M-way with cop cars slowly driving up and down the hard shoulder looking for me, then about half a mile down a country road, jumping in to bushes every 2 min to hide from passing patrol cars, then a bizzare benny hill style chase round and round a petrol station with a police woman following, then hiding in a hotel toilet for 15min, then being collard by the police and getting away from them with the most bizzare lie ever, then a 35quid ride home with the most suspicious taxi driver ever.

All because the Highway Patrol penis said he wasnt allowed to use his fire extinguisher unless it was an "emergency". What the fuck you call a car with its dash on fire if its not an emergency then you flange!?! I'dve been able to drive home if he bothered to put it out, started as a tiny fire, but he left it, and in the end, as I looked back, it was a blazing inferno with smoke that shut the whole road

IIRC my final words to him was "Fuck you then, im going home" then I ran for it, lol.

Sounds interesting

I dont know anything about the car at the moment, so after the MoT I'll have a good look around and do some research and see what's what. But I cant spend a lot of money on it, as I dont have a lot of money, lol
