Zola's car is coming together now, changed all the old rubish bushings to new hard plastic ones.

Old, shitty, distroyed:

New, shiny, green :

Also, reinforced the A-arms:

I got my self an oilcooler with fan:

And a new racing fuel cell, witch will be mounted much much lower than the original:

Also hopefully, I'm buying a 2101 in a few weeks, for winter fun, and well, to go to any small event, so I can finaly drive as well, not only build build build.... Everything from my racecar will go in it, engine, new sport tranny, suspension, but I want it 'sort of' streetlegal, so the interrior will remain factory, except for two bucketseats, and my steeringwheel. So it will be much heavier than the racecar, but well.. Maybe later on ? The chassis is 34 years old, so the car isnt rust free, thats for sure, but its in a fairly good condition. Some metalwork is going to be needed before I put it to the test

So from this:

To hopefully something like this:

Ah its so beautiful... Well the one I'm looking forward isnt in such a good shape But if it survives the winter without any major damage, and I will have enough money, it will look like this one day

Thats it for now

Hello there mancs, i`ve baught myself a pair of dellorto 40` and need inntakes. Does these exist fore buying, or do I have to make custom ones? Maybe you know someone who have a pair of inntakes lying around?

Another thing, could you post or send me pick of your throttle cable mecanism when you had them mounted?

Hi there!

Here in Hungary there is quite a few versions you can buy, if you want, I can hook you up with a pair, drop a pm

As for the cable I made was very very temporary, so there isnt any pics of it (thank god ), it was very crap. But you can modify your gas mechanism like this:

Little update here...

So I bought my self the winter project:

Lovely interior:

Clearly having some rust issues, but its 37 years old!! And the main frame is in perfect condition (to be honest, better than my other cars frame condition...). Also, first night I bought it, took it for a ride, it was surprisingly fun on wet! With all the 40 hp it has left But I didnt dare to go faster than 90 kmh on the way home, because the steering has a lot of movement, and the bushings are blown everywhere around the car, etc etc... So its going to be fun when its done

Test fitted the arches, lookin good:

Its going to be somewhat similar to this guys car, he used golf arches, quite common modification here. But I dont want to weld the arches on, its enough to do the inner arches. And its going to be easier this way. Well I hope

Well, thats all for now, stay tuned!
