just read through this build up from start to finish whilst watching the SuperBowl...
Epic... thats the only word suitable!
I took this photo while Pete Barber was driving at Silverstone last year, and is pretty much my favourite photo I took at any event last year. I hope you dont mind me posting it

Actually no it wasnt... It was actually 1/80th, f/7.1 @150mm but that was right at the point of initiation at the end of the straight so I'm guessing the car was doing 80-90mph?
Sorry to Spam flicksteRR, but check out the sets on flickr if you like Bolf... the JTS sets are about halfway down this page...

wow.. only just seen that pic... Leeek: awesome! I will add it to the building colelction for my site gallery.. ill make sure you get props of course and link to flikr.

Right well...

been aaages since i updated.. and frankly not a LOT has happened but the updates will be coming in alot thicker and faster now in the ramp up to the new season. I wasnt sure i was even competing this year and had pretty much written it off due to the debt i got in last year trying to build a new car as fast as i did. my own fault tbh but i loved it while i was doing it...

.. so anyway.. im gonna abuse the credit card and other sources and try to get to events as and when i can.. as well as please what sponsors i have and get the car to static shows and demos and dwyb's and mallory and the like...

with that in mind....

some toys began to arrive, or at least be discussed.. for the 2010 look and feel and so far.. its a good start:
(sorry Iphone pics. )

ANGRY CAR:

BAD-ASS CAR:

Obviously these are only test fits.. so thers a gap or two lol

I also have some other goodies on their way courtesy of some sponsors but thats for another post.

Plan is basicly rip out everything from the underside.. subframes, steering the lot. Got a complete replacement subframe, solid bushes, modified arms and some sneaky other bits to go on. and then after that it will be alot of basic clean up.. rewiring some bits, tidying up interior, remounting fire extinguisher.. then.. a lot of asthetic changes.. paint interior and out. new graphics.

oh and on a £0-£150 budget (not including paint) and a month an bit to do it all

1 last thing.. after movign house ... we found that it seems the same pickey fuck wit who stole my original turbo.. has stolen my new roof-tip spiler that i got from a group buy.. FUCKED OFF. waited ages for that and paid a fair bit too.

Yeah they supplied it.. fitment so far??

sideskirts.. bang on.. v tight fit and basicly stay on themselves.

back bumper.. 98% looks like it will go straight on with a bit of inner lip messing (not visible.. probably where it came out the mould.

front bumper: Honestly.. the left side is bang on.. the width bang on but my driver side has warped to buggary... to the point where it sticks out miiiiles. gonna need some propper fettling and bending somehow..
