This is a few weeks ago just as lionel finished this engine i decided i want to go rb26 as this engine had low compression.

My last up date showed that we had to start stripping the engine due to having low compersion. So this week the motor was fully stripped. I found that all the comprestion ring where stuck solied to the pistons and also piston 2 had a nasty scoor on the skirt. Also some of the bearing had picked up so this engine realy needed to be rubuilt.

So the Next step is for use to re build the engine useing a Rb26 bottom end and pistons, up rated bearings, long knos r33 crank,
Whith the other parts this engine has got we should see some nice numbers when it comes to being dynoed.

Also we have the engine back. today i have been building it up and hope to have it running very soon. The spec is now 26 crank and pistons with 25 head and cams.

The new rb26. I think this is about engine number 5 or 6 in this car. Each time we have built an engine for this car someone has seemed to turn up at work wanting to buy it. This one i am not selling ha ha!

This photo is from last week the car is all but done now should have it finished next week if all goes right.

up-dater.

Ash has been flat out for 3days building a manifold. We had to cut a RB25 manifold apart and make a flange for the RB26 head.

Next is to build the down pipe a lot of cutting will be needed for this.

this is an awesome build !! i really want a r32 4 door , but it looks like im going to have to import one myself
