    Smile Scottyj's Mx5 daily/Drifter

Well ive been here a bit but have never had a car that i actually plan to do much of a "project" to.

Started off at the beginning of the year with a 340 and now im 19 with some no claims ive just gone out and bought this 1996 Eunos Roadster

Its a 1800 with a standard engine, bought it how it is atm.

    Spec list so far it;

    Enkie 14" wheels
    Cat back system
Lowered with some kind of basic adjustable suspention
a properly welded in roll bar
    front strut brace.
rear lights (not sure about yet) :/

Really happy with the car its only done 38,000 miles so its really smooth....
Best car ive driven (but i havent driven many )

Plans at the moment are just to get used to the car and enjoy it and move on a do things as and when i need too..

I have some ATS cups which are quite likely to go on at some point... Will need some bolt on arches though as there 15" x 7j et 28 and 15" x 9j ET10

heres a few pics that were in the advert some better ones to follow when i get the time to give it a clean and a check over...

Oh and black cage padding is on the agenda, along with a hardtop... Just need money!

I always think MX5's look best decked, with flush 15's and a front lip.

Oh and the Rear Lights =

meh, im not sure on the rear lights, could be a lot gayer, may tint them a bit... but i have better things to spend my money on that lights atm

Still think ima go down the ats route as i have the wheels already, just worried a 15x9 et 10 may kill the handling a bit, obviously ill have narrow skid rims untill i get more power

It will be lower, its already lowered a bit but im saving up for some decent coilies..

The cups should fit with some minimal arch rolling if you want to keep costs down

    Right update time....

Going to norfolk arena on the 21st so have been trying to get the car a bit better set-up

Ive ordered a cheap 330mm dished wheel from ebay for now as the standard one was to big, should be with me anytime now..

Fitted a corbeau forza seat that i got given when i sold my old car, its a very very tight fit lol but its in, just need to get the angle right as im sitting too upright atm...

Sparco 4 point harness and a drift button for the handbrake (in the hope the standard handbrake will lock my wheels at all) are needing to be fitted too..

Pics up when its all done.. also got a universal central locking kit so i can fit that and my alarm ive got in the shed

Just need to try and get a de-cat now, but still waitin for my refund from the other one!

You ever out anymore? Still need to get out with the locals, I'm out most weekends and still don't know anyone that skids!

Had an amazing drift day and norfolk arena yesterday.. Try and sort some pics later today..

Car felt good, power wasn't too bad but a lil more would be great lol

Stiffer suspension is on the card though a think... So saving up for more seat time is no1 and a decent set of coilies is no2

Then I think its turbo time, but that will be way later next year..
