ITB's on a F20 with a carbon airbox does look the tits very much like the airbox on our FS cars (All carbon even though they've got a 20mm intake )

Seriously this car's gonna go like a rocket with those and sound absolutely insane (tunnel runs anyone? )

Cool, you dont even notice they are there

Do they bolt up to the inner wing? Or into the original external wing bolt holes?

now I'm starting to get really really pi$$ed off

The supplier of my exhaust got in touch with me almost 2 weeks ago they said my exhaust would be ready to ship on 27/01/2007 but they would ring back to confirm. So Friday the 27th of Jan came and went - and no phonecall came.

Some of the problems over the last 3 months waiting have been beyond the suppliers control which I totally appreciate.

I've spent at LEAST 1 hour each day for the last 2 weeks trying to contact the supplier on both their mobile and land lines and via email and am getting no response back at all

I know somebody is there because sometimes when I ring the number is engaged when I ring - so I keep trying back until the the engaged tone is gone and then it just rings out again

So 2007 is fuggin magic - the season is going to start and I am now totally behind with getting a car ready so I may as well just forget the whole thing LOL.

happy days.

(*rant mode off* - I know there is nothing you guys can do about it but I just had to vent before I punch the shit out of something.)

well - I'm less angry now.

I've just been on the phone with the guys building the exhaust and you would not believe the amount of bad luck this poor chap is having at the moment.

I should have some more good news towards the end of the week which is good.

I am all chilled now sipping a nice cup of tea LOL.

I cant wait to see this thing - the collectors are said to be a work of art. If its that nice I'll just hang it up in the lounge instead of putting it on the car LOL

Nothing much happened again - but the exhaust should be here next week.

All I can do at the moment is odds and ends really - but its all the little jobs and gathering of things that takes up a lot of time in my experience from kit car builds.

I just pulled the fuel rail from the std s2000 inlet manifold so I could get the injectors out. They are off over to Scoobymania for a clean up and flow test on their posh injector testing rig.

I also checked the o-rings and seals to see if they are going to be ok on the Jenvey fuel rail and the injector pockets of the ITBS. The lower seals fit down onto the injector pockets of the ITBS just fine. but the top o-rings are no good for the Jenvey fuel rail. The chap I know building the s2000 powered westfield seems to remember using Subaru-sized top seals on his - pretty sure the scoobymania boys will have what I need.

Still waiting to hear back from StageOneImports for a few bits and bobs. They are Tokico dealers and they carry the 45-point click adjusters for HTS dampers which I want to start using instead of messing about with the little tool you get with the dampers. Hopefully hear from them early in the week.

Been trying to guess what sized ITG filter I'm gonna need (as tall as possible) but its pretty hard to do unless I have access to the car which I dont at the moment. Still - Merlin Motorsport stock the full range so at least I know where to go when the time comes.

a small fraction closer - well maybe LOL.
