I got a call from Gunt Tuning today the exhaust is now complete after a few modifications when it was test fitted to Eric Sully's car. The new revised header has a lot more clearance than it used to. Should be with NMS next week so they can get cracking on the shell work. ![]() These boys are responsible for a sick sick arsenal of vehicles. YB powered sunbeam anyone ? ![]() ![]() I got me a Zenki grille from Mr Sparks which will (hopefully) offer a bit more cooling through the front of the car. I am going to keep the posh JDM one with the fogs in it though just in case. ![]() I got me some new front hub bearings to go with the rest of the new stuff on the front end - should feel all nice through the steering wheel ![]() I also managed to get me a set of the click adjusters that sit on top of the dampers - no more pissing about with the little tool to do it. ![]() ![]() I also found me a good s2000 breakers today who currently happen to have 12 smashed up cars ready to rob bits from. Today I got me the module that fits down into the s2000 fuel tank that carries the pump and the fuel level sender etc. This module fits into the ae86 fuel tank exactly where the ae86 fuel pump carrier would go - how neat is that! one less thing to worry about I guess LOL. I hope to play with some spanners soon. |

update ? you must be joking buddy - no exhaust has arrived here yet Nothing is happening - it sucks like a good hooker. I did manage to get the fuel pump cartridge sent to me from a UK s2000. It has the fuel level sender which I need to power the s2000 dash all properly. I got this neat trick from my friend in Canada who also has F20 powahs. Unfortunately the UK fuel tanks seem different in design. The UK catridge has the fuel level sender on the side of the main cartridge like so: ![]() Part 'c' being the float. On a tank taken from an s2000 in a breakers yard in canada it looks like this: ![]() The sender being part 25 going into the tank attached to part 28 - this is the perfect match for the sender hole on the std AE86. So it worked out for my buddy - but not for me. I guess I have several options 1. Dont have a fuel gauge - the ranges are well out on the std 86 float/sender to power the cluster. 2. Remove the level sender from the catridge I have and fab up a new top plate for the tank. 3. Source a US/Canada float. All kinda trivial really - we cant do shit til the manifold is here and god knows when that will be. And I'm worrying about a pissy fuel gauge LOL. As for urs...How does she drive then Mr .john. ? |

WTF man, we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold we want manifold! Something like that anyway! ![]() I imagine youve seen this, as its been around for a while, but i thought, if you dont have a manifold, it would sound just like this! hahahahaha Video - F1 style exhaust sound on a s2000 Last edited by Black Betty; 27-02-2007 at 19:00. |

I am conducting an experiment. I just ordered these from the USA. Gauge to work with the ECU's secondary wideband o2 sensor Single AEM DataStream Gauge - This is pretty damn neat - kinda like a pectel monitor - you can configure the gauge to cycle between 19 outputs from the ECU (like TPS, Engine Load, or any sensor/reading that the ECU can see). You can also chain them together which is neat - and no need for additional senders as the gauge takes all readings direct from the ECU. ![]() I wonder if they will arrive before the bendy metal thingy ? |

cool gauges. do you have to specify when you get afr gauge whether it needs to be for wide or narrow band? | |
