new heavier springs installed up front ![]() wire brushed si's old brake brackets - grindinated the ends off to make way for the wilwood converter bracket. I painted up the ends to stop them going super rusty. ![]() ![]() Shazam ![]() Still gotta bleed up the brakes and do the back springs and then its all about sparks before lift off

| 86 ColdTurkey ![]() | A plan is hatching...
I popped into my garage the other day and much to my surprise came across an absolutely pristine AE86 - then I remembered it was mine LOL. ![]() Nothing very much has happened to be fair and the car has just been forgotten about which is a shame (I've been spending too much time doing photography and dossing on the sofa watchinng telly related things in my free time instead of working towards getting back driving again) - but totally my own doing. I can now report I am the new owner of brother pazza's barrels - there is too much german running through that mans blood of recent so I guess they became surplus to requirement. ![]() I'll get them whipped off and given a good ol' shine with my posh white wheel juice ![]() Anyway, I've just had a very very productive conversation with a good friend who is going to get one of their technicians on the case with wiring up the car. It won't be started for some weeks yet but it will hopefully be ready for the spring time...this year! I know I've said this for the last 3 years in a row but I am confident this will be the case.I can see this light at the end of a dark tunnely thing and am almost excited about the toyonda agan. So many good venues about this year it seems a shame to not make use of them. I just hope they manage to fix up my home circuit again - Donington rocks and it would be a total loss if becomes a runway or something. Ya gotta love them Crainer Curves
