F/S 328i Sport - S reg Avus Blue - Overheats

I bought this for £850 knowing it overheats.

Some say thats too much bit its totally original, and the owner had had it for 10 years!
I thought with it fixed, would be up there with the best of them.

Id hoped it just needed bleeding as i know these can be hard to bleed, but ive had no joy with it.
It doesn't smoke, and it has no cream in the filler cap, but suspect its the head gasket.

My plan was just to drop another engine in there, but i haven't and its just been sitting there for a couple of months as my other cars have kept me busy, so i think its time to try and sell it.

Its got a great spec, 18 button obc, digital climate control, Evo steering wheel, Original staggered BBS wheels, full leather.
Non sunroof.
120k miles Plenty of paperwork but i'll check if its FSH.

Rust, its not rust free but its pretty good. Front wings have no rust. Jacking points are good. Boot is goos as is under the boot seal. Small scab on the passenger rear arch, and a spot on the bonnet that looks like a stone chip has been untreated and its got a tiny bit of rust on it.
Drivers seat bolster is worn.
My mate had the mirrors for his but ive got some M3 mirrors i'll put on instead. I have got some spare standard ones i think but not Avus blue backs.
Crack in the windscreen.

I'd like my £850 back for it, however id take a bit less to get it gone, its too good to break really.
If i can get close to that, i'll keep it until ive got time and the money spare to fix it up.

you 100% sure its the head gasket? ive had 2 sports have the waterpump go on them and the thermostat at the same time!
