Cheapish Black R32 GTS-T - Drifting forum

For sale 1994 R32 Skyline with the fairly cool numberplate K668 BOM.

98,876km,
7 months tax,
4 months MOT.

RB20 engine,
Blitz air filter,
I was told it has a HKS diff but unsure without removing it,
17" Advan alloys in white, they are split 5-spokes (not sure if these will go with the car or not).

The car is jet black, the body work is ok (a few marks, car park dings etc), all round it's a fairly good looking car.

As in another thread I posted, it has an engine problem...

The car pulls really strong (as it should) upto 4k rpm then just missfires. It still manages to go off the clock (as it's still in KPH) and when off boost it revs fine past 4k. I've checked for boost leaks and there appears to be none, so that now leaves either coil pack(s), plugs, thing on top of cam plug cover for coils or ECU.

As well as the engine problem, the clutch squeeks/ squeels think it mat be the release bearing or pressure plate. There are no problems going into gear from stand still or while driving, so perhaps it's just a release bearing issue?

Since owning it I have replaced the windscreen with a brand new one (not cheap), replaced gear & handbreak gaitors and put tax on it.

I am selling it as I have not got time to fix it, or the motivation to. I have too many cars and need to get rid of them all and start afresh! I never got round to sorting it as I rarely get a weekend off to play with it. I've put about 2.5k on it just driving round town and to work every now and again (44miles away). I would keep it if was running properly or if I had time to use it!

Used it 4 times last month and no quite my job so need to reduce my out goings (insurance on three cars)

Just had a gd look under and around the car & found it has non coilover -30mm Tein suspension all round!

Been for a quick blast in the car and found when doing a dounut it will rev way past the 4k rpm mark. Really think it's just a plug, coil pack and clutch issue. Not sure want to part with it now. But needs must

try fuel pump, I had same symptoms as yours and it packed up one day, replaced the fuel pump and all was gone

Still for sale, but using again as my daily driver is fuel of doggy Beford tesco fuel and run's like it's burning water not petrol~!

Waiting for them to turn up from Fleabay, striped em all out n found x4 NGK plugs & x2 bosch so gonna get some new ones as a SET! one had slight crack in ceramick bit & had black top bit where contacks coil pack.

So think will prob sort it! If not fuel pump change to Walbro then ECU is route going down. Looking for clutch quotes at the mo as if not gona by next week will keep and put few qiud into her as insurance runs out last on this one & TAX (9 months time).
Will keep you posted, hows millage coming along on the 200sx? run in yet?
