RB20DET S13 for sale...

It absolutely breaks my heart to do this, but I need the money and I can't ignore it any longer. The time has come to admit defeat and sell my S13. I really don't want to break it - I don't really have the time and I'd love to see it back on the road, even if I'm not driving it.

Engine
  • RB20DET, manual 'box, clutch from R32... All ~39,000 miles
  • Cefiro front subframe
  • Apexi filter
  • Apex FMIC (a bit dented from the accident, no holes though)
  • Blitz Nur Spec exhaust (again, dented from the accident. Comes with a bung)
  • Custom downpipe & decat
  • Walbro fuel pump
  • Electric fan

Suspension
  • Apex coilovers - 8kg/mm front, 6kg/mm rear
  • DW subframe bushes
  • Alloy steering bush

  • Apex camber arms
  • DW poly bushes in camber arms
  • 5-stud conversion
  • S14 front brakes, Z32 rear brakes
  • Braided brake hoses front & rear
  • ABS removed
  • Welded diff - oil cooler, pump & lines removed
  • 25mm bolt-on spacers all round
  • Apex rear strut brace

Interior
  • Stripped interior, still has tar soundproofing
  • Cobra Monaco S buckets x 2
  • Bride subframes x 2
  • Sabelt 4-point harnesses x 2
  • Sparco 330mm suede wheel
  • Momo Boss
  • DW snap-off steering spacer
  • Razo aluminium gearknob
  • Drift button fitted to handbrake
  • Blitz turbo timer

Exterior
  • Gunmetal grey
  • Kouki rear lights (including lower panel), painted matt black
  • 17" Volks Racing split-rim wheels - 9" front, 10" rear
  • 1 x Falken FK452 rear tyre (less than 3000 miles)
  • 2 x Falken ZE512 front tyres (less than 3000 miles covered, although one has gone flat and been standing for 6 months)

Unfitted Parts, included if sold for asking
  • Apexi AVC-R
  • Apexi SAFC
  • Apexi Rev/Speed Meter
  • Oil pressure, temperature and boost gauges - with recall and alarm functions
  • Momo aluminium pedal extensions
  • Shift light
  • DB Power 52mm radiator
  • DW wasted spark kit

As you might know, we got the RB in my car last year, got it running properly and then I crashed it on the way home from JAE.

The car was reshelled into a free shell which is not in particularly good condition. It has many dents and scratches, and both doors and rear wings are rusty.

The bootlid got pulled about in the accident and is still pretty smacked up with cracked filler - I do have a fresh bootlid in the garage though, it's red and it still has the original holes in it, but it's totally rust free and included with the car.

Also comes with a JDM rear bumper shell - it will need spraying and fitting. The front bumper isn't fitted at the moment but is included - it will also need spraying as it's white.

The NSF wheel bearing is very shagged, but the car also comes with a pair of replacements for the front which will need to be pressed in.

The radiator is knackered and will need replacing - I do have a brand new DB Power S13 rad (52mm thick) that will be included if it gets asking price.

The intercooler pipework would need redoing at some point, but it works fine.

The alloys suffered during the accident, with plenty of gravel rash and a fair few chunks out of them. I started reconditioning one of them though, which isn't on the car at present - I've split the wheel down and polished the rim. The spokes need rubbing down and painting and the whole lot bolting back up and it'll be fine. The rest of the alloys obviously need the same treatment, or a professional refurb.

The loom was neatened by Buffy when we were swapping shells after the accident, and it works fine, but it's sitting in the passenger footwell at present.

The engine was absolutely mint, no problems with it whatsoever - it's only been started sporadically over the last 6 months though and needs an oil/filter change. It could also do with a cam-belt change to be on the safe side as there was no proof that it was ever done.

The battery is dead and will need replacing.

Car has no MOT or tax and will need to be trailered away. It can be heard running though.

It was a brilliant beginner track/drift car, it's not far off drift competition spec - apart from the stuff listed above to do, it would need a cage, extinguisher and electrical cut-off. I never got to drift it properly but I hope one day it will!

Car is definitely not mint but it has massive potential - with a small amount of work, it could be a brilliant car - most of the Telford people (Playworker, Doz, Russ200) know the car and can correct anything I may have missed off or got wrong.

The ONLY reason I'm selling it is because I need money desperately. I've managed to keep it for 6 months, but I can't afford to any longer. To say I'm gutted is an understatement. Please don't insult me with stupid offers.

I'll get pics of it up ASAP.

Any questions, feel free to ask.

EDIT: Thanks to Doz, whoever buys this will also get a mint white S13 shell thrown in ready to swap over. Rust free and totally stripped, it will need collecting by trailer from Doz's (about 30 mins from mine). It will also need some sort of roof panel fabricating (carbon?) because it's been cut out. It's also missing the rear quarter windows - but my shell has those.

£3750 NO OFFERS.

Nope, it's no longer Sil80, it's a straight S13.

Powarz is whatever a standard RB20DET with an FMIC puts out - I didn't change anything in the end, I crashed it before I had chance!

Engine was daaaaamn mint. Not even dirty. And super sweet and quiet. Came out of an utterly mint late 1992 R32 GTS-T with 38,000 miles... so you have only done about 1000 miles with it Mr Kiruji? Damn shame. Hope you can find a way to keep it.

I've been looking for a way to keep it for the last 6 months. Unfortunately, I haven't managed to find a way and now I have to get shot

After we put the engine in the car, I drove it about locally for a week and then went to JAE. On the way back, I crashed. So 1000 miles is the max I did with it - and it's fecking gutting.

Engine is a fookin minter. Helped with the install of her and its such a shame you didn't get to use it a bit more. Sounds absolutely amazinginging through the blitz exhaust. I must admit I was nursing a semi after a drive down the 54

If it helps with the sale i'm going to chuck in a mint shell which has been de-tarred and rust free. Only problem it will require rear quarter glass and a carbon roof. That is providing the buyer of said car can collect at some point. Other wise i'll keep it for myself

Nope... If it doesn't sell like this, I'll put it back on the road and put it back up for sale. If it still doesn't sell, I'll consider breaking it then.

Rubbed down and sprayed the centre of the alloy I was polishing matt black yesterday and bolted the wheel back up together to give you an idea of how they could look with a little work - obviously if you spent some cash on having them properly refurbed, they'd look much better, but it took me about 4 hours to polish and paint them to this state!

Pics added in main post.
