| tail slider | Stage 1 - 1997 200SX (S14a) Not a drift car, but a good platform if you want to build one, or just a damn nice car if you want a daily drive ! 1997 200SX Touring (S14A) - "Taz" Base Spec : Kuros Black ![]() UK Car 2.0 Turbo SR20 DET Manual gearbox 12 Months MOT and TAX (exp 1 Jul 2009) Body : Skyline R34 GTT Spoiler ![]() Black paintwork has been kept pristine, there are a few chips to the front bumper, nothing unusual for this milage. The second owner was a Police Inspector who looked after the car perfectly till it was sold to Nismo Steve, an SXOC Member. He didn't have the car long, but looked after it perfectly and kept her running with Motul Fully Synth. I bought the car off Steve with 85,500 miles on the clock. The car was absoloutely pristine and I was happy to buy the car after the first viewing and a quick HPI check (clean!) Since then it has been a motorway cruiser for me. Although she now stands at 150kmiles, these are all easy motorway miles (except for a trip to York dragway to get the 1/4 mile and 0.60 time). A testament to this is that she's only on her second set of tyres since I got her !!! New oil every 5000-7500 has meant that the motor is still purring like a kitten, but pulls like a train when your right foot get's heavy ![]() Summary: This car has been my pride and joy for the last 2 years. It's wanted for nothing, if any thing required service or replacement, it got it. As it turns out, it's been a very reliable car, you can check my post history and see for yourself. The car is immaculate throughout, as local Hull members will be able to confirm and she will shine through on any inspection. This is a VERY reluctant sale, but sadly I just can't afford to keep doing 450-500 miles a week. It's time for me to get sensible, and buy a smokey diesel :annoyed: ![]() ![]() ![]() The gearknob in he above pic has since been replaced with a Nismo Leather knob ![]() Taking in purchase price and mods, the car owes me £8000. The car has been valued, and insured with agreed value of £5000 by Sky Insurance. Available to you - £4500 ONO (with 12 months tax & MOT from next month) Last edited by Smoothound : 30-06-2008 at 11:46. |

| tail slider | Here's a power graph from The Racing Line last year (ignore the date on the chart, their clock was wrong) ![]() ![]() With a bit of leaning out at the top end, it would see 275 no problem, but I've left it a touch rich for safetys sake. If you were to drift the car you would probably want to do the same. The safer way would be to set the boost to 1.0 bar (car was at 0.85 this day) and happliy see 275-280 I hasten to add, this was 98RON with octane booster and a FMIC for good measure to keep the det away. Both the SAFC knock sensor reader, and the det cans showed there was zero det. And it was HOT that day too! ![]() |
