Exclamation UPDATED! New Price! S13 for sale - forged SR20, Cusco Zero2s and more...

Right, I’ve hummed and hawed for 3 weeks, but the time comes to bite the bullet and post. Cuts me deep to do this, but an impending change in circumstance forces me to put up my beloved WIP up for sale I know I’ve swithered with this in the past before coming to my senses, but this time it’s for real and really, really has to go. Quickly if possible.

It's got:
• Dan (SRB Power guy's) low-mileage, Abbey Motorsport-built SR20 (hump-top S14a unit) in it with HKS pistons and HKS metal head gasket. Done approx 30k miles since rebuild. Always taken care of in every way. Gem of an engine. Receipt for the build detailing what was done is available.
• Nearly-new Cusco Zero2 coilovers. Generally regarded as the best coilovers you can get without going for megabucks ones like Aragosta, Quantum, etc.
• Brand new HPI (HPI¡¡ HIGH POWER IMPROVEMENT) intercooler kit fitted - piped from compressor outlet all the way round to throttle body – if it’s good enough for Koguchi it should be good enough for anybody. Full-size nearly-new battery shifted to battery box in boot using DB Power relocation kit.
• Brand new polyurethane engine mounts, s/steel steering bush, poly-U steering rack bushes, poly-U rear subframe bushes, and every other suspension bush replaced with poly-U bush (Only thing remaining to be replaced would be the gearbox mount).
5-stud conversion with R33 GTSt front calipers (w/braided lines) and discs and standard S13 rear brakes with redrilled discs - car's only covered about 1000 miles with the new brakes
• Late-spec genuine Kouki 180SX front bumper with D-Max combi sidelights/indicators - bumper is still midnight purple and has a large scuff on the right hand side where it's seen some action, but should be very easy to rub back smooth for painting... Raybrig pop-up lenses fitted for added sexiness.
• Other stuff like C's short shift, HKS metal air filter, brand new Power Enterprise magnetic oil filter, Walbro fuel pump, braided oil feed to turbo, Recaro SRIII recliner on Bride bottom-mount rail
• Approx 10 month MOT, 4 months tax

Sills have only just been redone (I still haven't managed to get them painted yet, should get that done this weekend), and there's the usual little smattering of rust around the tops of the front suspension towers. Generally excellent knick though. A couple of little dinks and scrapes where someone has used me as a side-cushion when parking.

It's also got a couple of probs:
• Rear ABS sensor is goosed, so the ABS is inactive. It’s all been left in to give the new owner the option to fix it or just rip it out and not bother with it at all.
• Needs a proper diff and a decent exhaust really, but again it's a bit of a blank canvas in this area which may suit folk better?

Pics will be put up once it gets a good (and much needed!) clean, again probably at the weekend. In the meantime, imagine a burgundy S13 riding low with a virtually black kouki 180SX bumper trying to hide a mean looking intercooler, and you’ve pretty much got it

If you’re interested, drop me a PM or e-mail me at graham_carracher*at*yahoo.co.uk

If anyone wants to pop up and say what a nice car this is or what a sound guy I am, please feel free

Cheers,
Graham

Exclamation

Right, time to raise this beyatch from the dead!

Car has been away getting the little niggly bits sorted out so it can be sold on. It is now running perfectamundo, the sills have been painted up (front bumper remains unpainted however), the Recaro (extremely comfy, so it is ) is now in and joined by my sexy suede Sparco steering wheel. The whole shell has been up on the ramps and given a good once over to combat the dreaded tim-worm, and I can confirm it’s in excellent knick. The standard clutch is also much less worn than we thought, and is perfectly good for any day-to-day driving you’d want to do.

I still haven’t got any better pictures than the ones above, as we’ve barely had a dry weekend up here for weeks, but will do at the earliest opportunity.

This has got to go quickly. It’s totally unsuitable for transporting around a hormonal, 6 months pregnant woman!

You really could not ask for a better base for a good dori machine, and I’d expect right now to be the perfect time to start sorting a car out for next year. The engine is an absolute gem with all the pedigree you’d want, the suspension is superb and the shell is very solid.

Looking for £3900, but am more than happy to consider offers.

This is an absolute bargain when you consider on it’s own that it’d probably cost you this to take your own engine to Abbey and get them to build it up to this spec! Couple that with some of the best suspension you could put on a n S-body and you’re laughing!

Hit me up

Cheers,
Graham

Some interior shots of the car after getting a quick hoover'n'dust last night:

Suede Sparco wheel - brilliant and barely used

Recaro SRII or III - also brilliant and barely used

Interior from passenger side

Umm... what can I say about this?

An unassuming-looking SR20, but it's not...

My still shiny Zero2's - find a bit of road that isn't cratered to f*ck and you won't believe how good these are, trust me

That will have to do until it finally stops pissing down and I can deal with the exterior

Just a quick note to say the car is in Glasgow, as I've just realised I neglected to put that in the advert Shouldn't be a problem if you're prepared to travel for a good car - I went all the way to Stoke to get it when I first bought it!

Some externals after giving the car a quick sponge bath at the first sign of dry weather:

Like I said, the car doesn't look like anything spectacular from the outside, as all the good stuff is hidden away, but you can see how clean it is generally

Just to reiterate, I am definitely open to offers. Baby gets here in approx 3 months: Buy Me!!!!
