Pikey I am really sad to hear you are pulling out. Competing is not cheap and takes its toll on you unless you are rich.

You have to put your family before your hobby. I made my family suffer a lot for drifting dont make the same mistake I did.

Best of luck with your house mate. I am sure it is worth the sacrifice

The plan is to finish the season, and take the car apart at the end of August to be sold in parts, as I suspect that's the only way I'll get the money I need from the car.

But if someone offers me the money before the end of the season, I'll have to say yes.

Nice car bud, but I agree with what evryone is saying ^^^ hang on in there for a year, rent a place and buy next year. I work with a lot of economists and they all say the same thing - September 2009 is going to be the low point. Just remember -

YOU CAN SLEEP IN YOUR CAR, YOU CAN'T DRIFT A HOUSE....!!!!!

thats a very good price
top spec s13's arent cheap to build you only have to start to add up the cost of the parts and you would be at that price in no time and this car is already built and pretty much new so theres non of the labour costs or if your building your own car the headaches and frustration and the TIME involved i dread to think how long ive spent building s-bodies.

i hope that someone buys it fella.it just sadden's me that people are stuck in a mindset that s13's are cheap disposabe cars and that you know its worth more in parts than it is as a car.

it's true...i'm still trying to find one in the for sale section...can't even find a drift friendly girlfriend on ebay!!!
Last time i took a girl home in the sx she said she really like drifting, it was so cool etcetcetc and could i do some on the way back? Thinking i was well in there I went round the roundabout at the end of her road a couple of times with em lit up...flicked(ish) off and she banged her head on the window. When I pulled up at her place she got out and f**ked off!!! my exit wasn't that bad!

I did the same thing once , I now tell them to brace themselves.

Also when drifting.

Parents have offered to loan me the value of the car (in parts) at the end of the season, so thats probably the way it's looking like going

But, if someone were to make me an offer I'd still consider it.

Will be at Lydden Hill on the 19th for some skiddings
