| 83 AE86 2 door coupe now with pictures! Got to sell the levin as I am moving out of the EU in a few months. Bought it of Paz back in January and spent a small fortune on it so far. It is a RHD 83 (August) Levin coupe in off-white imported from Japan to the UK late last year. The body is in really good shape. No welding is needed and all the pockets are very solid. The arches have been rolled to the extreme and the front have small cracks in them from some rubbing but other than that they are OK. It has TRD 5 way shocks al around and the front are height and preload adjustable --> the spring height can be adjusted and the height of the complete strut into the bottom section where the shock is mounted to the hub. It also has loads of lock and the rear has a adjustable lateral rod and a very good cusco 2 way diff. The rear springs are 6kg Swift springs and I also have a set of cut TRD springs if you want to go extra low . It also has T3 traction bracketsThe discs are real good and the pads have lots of life left in them. I have also fitted stainless steel braded hoses a few weeks ago and I used toyota fluid. The wheels are AME Mesh 8 x 15 ET -10 fronts with a 10 mm spacer. The rear are very special 9 x 15 ET (close to 0) Work wheels which I have never seen on a other car with that kind of lip. Tires are 195 45 15 B stones fronts and 205 45 15 Toyo rear which have a lot of life left! Since I have bought it I have prepped the car for a LHD country so it is fitted with LHD lights and has the correct rear fog lights. The RHD lights are also included as is a set of extra rear lights. The conversion back to RHD lights will takes 20 minutes, all zou need to do is swap them over. It also has a late Levin grill and a zenki lip . Underneath the car is really really nice. There has never been any welding and there is no rust proofing at all so this needs to be done before next winter. The exhaust is a custom job and is the best I have ever seen. It is an over the axle system made of stainless steal and has one silencer so is loud but real nice! The engine is stock except for a 4 into 1 manifold. The manifold was cracked when I bought it but I had it repaired by a specialist welder that does some welding race team I know in Germany. I also fitted some new samco hoses a few weeks ago and it has a massive greddy oil cooler and filter relocation kit. Oh, and it has a catch tank and a piper cross airlifter. The clutch feels like a aftermarket item and flywheel feels super light as the car revs with ease. It also has camber plates and a cusco strut bar. Interior wise it has safety 21 half cage and two brand new driftworks Cobra seats. The runners are brand new Bride items which cost me an arm and a leg from Japan. It has a nardi wheel with a long hub plus a spacer from T3. I am almost two meters so the position is ideal for me. There is no back seat but the rest is there. Everything works on the dash except the fuel gauge but the fuel light comes on when needed! It also has omri oil pressure and temperature gauges and water temperature. All work very well. This is an extremely nice car and took me ages to find. I was going to fit a 20V blacktop to it but since I do not have time I will be selling it separately. As I said, I have made the car ready for EU registration but it is still registerd (under my name) in the UK and has MOT till October, no tax. I am looking for something in the region of 5500 pounds for the whole car as it is with everything except the BT 20V. The car is currently in Belgium but I can deliver or include transport if the price is right! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() [IMG] [/IMG]Last edited by rikard : 24-06-2008 at 19:06.
