| FS: 180sx, my Japanese drift car, bolt on parts galore! I've had my 180sx for over a year now so it's elligible to send to Oz as a personal import now. I'm looking at buying a thrasher car for the remainder of my stay in Japan so I'd like to sell the 180sx now if possible. The car is a 1992 (edited, see a few posts down) 180sx, it's a middle model not a late model, it's build date is June 1996, the late model came out in October, however I've swapped alot of parts over to make it look like a later model. The body has around 90,000km on it however due to the car coming with a really ugly aftermarket dash I replaced the dash with a stock one from another car. The dash reads 90,000km or so anyways. The engine was rebuilt in late 2003 and has around 33,000km on it now. The compression is 150-151psi over all cylinders. Mechanically the car is spot on, all of the parts are quality and it's been a very reliable and strong car. I've set the boost at it's lowest setting (0.9 - 1 bar) for the whole time I've had the car but it could easily be raised a bit since the turbo still has some headroom at 1 bar. The car has a few blemishes as can be expected of a drift car. There is a rust repair in the right sill (typical S13 rust spot), the paint doesn't match 100% between all the panels as they were painted at different times and there are a few little scuffs and so on over the body. The car is located in Japan and the price includes shipping, the car will not be registered, it will come only with all the paperwork required to blueslip the car (personal imports require only a blueslip to comply them). I'm negotiable on what comes with the car, for example I can keep the Bride seats and ship the car with late model '180sx' logo seats instead. Same goes for all the other parts. I'm negotiable on price, obviously it depends on what parts come with the car and so on but I'll set 8500 Euros as a starting price delivered for the car as it sits, this price is rough and due to differences in shipping costs and exchange rates an interested buyer would have to contact me to recieve a firm price on the car delivered. My friend here in Japan is an exporter of cars so he would handle the actual moving of the car to whatever country it should go to. The car does not come with the numberplates. It does come with everything else you see except the ricochet sticker (that's my drift team so it'll be coming off, the rest will stay). A/C needs a regas (it has no gas now, and if it did it would be emptied when the car goes to Oz) Gearbox whines a bit in 1st an 2nd. | Blitz K450R turbo kit, Nismo 740cc injectors, ORC twin plate clutch and all the other usual drift parts (diff, arms, oil cooler, rad etc etc etc) along with a stripped out interior. He makes about 80ps more than me at the wheels (my car has about 300ps, his has more like 380ps), and you can really hear the external gate on the thing haha. But my car is shinier so buy it . |

| Updated: I looked at the rego papers and the build date is listed as June 1992. I got the 1996 year from FAST on my mates PC not the rego papers. I believe the rego papers myself. That still makes the car a middle model 180sx, probably a Type II trim level. Apologies. For anyone interested the yen price is around 900,000 yen with everything but I'm neg on price and parts. |
