Sierra XR4i - Drift Ready - Welded diff

Ford Sierra XR4I 1985 B Registration in Black – Welded Diff

I'm advertising this for a friend so you can contact either one of us as per forum rules.

I bought this car to learn to drift in and it has done me proud. I now feel I’m at the stage where I could benefit from a more highly spec’d, drift orientated car hence my advert.

The car has a welded diff that was done by Julian Smith at Garage D so it won’t break. He was quite interested in the car when I took it up to him as he had one when he was younger. He said it was in pretty good condition and commented on how quiet the engine was as cologne V6’s are usually very loud and tappy.

I looked at a few before buying and settled on this car because the gearbox had been reconditioned in 2004 and the engine had a massive amount of money spent on it in 2002.

The car’s first belonged to a famous car collection in Birmingham called the Patrick Collection. I have paperwork to prove this is the case.

It's not a concours car but as the pictures show, the condition is pretty good. There are a few dings and dents but you would expect that with a car of this age. The paintwork is also generally pretty good. Drives very well and I have not had a single problem with it in the time I have had it. It starts first time every time and the engine and gearbox feel very healthy.

The car has had a fortune spent on it over the course of its life and I have a mountain of paperwork to go with the car to prove this.

The odometer currently reads 122,484 although this has not worked for a while so the true reading will be a bit higher. Also the back box fell off a short time ago. I intended to replace it but I never got round to doing it plus it sounds really good without the silencer! I have the back box so it can easily be welded back on. The rear bumper has also been repaired at some point during its life but it’s a good repair. The tracking also needs a slight adjustment.

All in all this is a very good car for this age. I have priced it quite competitively compared to some on Pistonheads where I think they are now seen as classic cars. With a small amount of money spent on it (for the exhaust and tracking) it will give someone a lot of pleasure.

I've listed the spec. below (All backed up with paperwork). If you have any questions or would like to come and see it, please call me on the mobile number below.
