1990 Nissan (j) 300zx TT Manual 369.8 Bhp huge spec

Really dont want to sell her, but I was made redundant 2 months ago and need money for rent! I'd consider a PX, cheap drift car etc after letting my supra go a few weeks ago

This car is very well known within the 300zx forum and community.

Massive spec list, the car has had 20k spent on it between myself and the prev owner is also contactable.

The mot has just been done and she passed with no problems.

The road tax has just been renewed for 6 months.

I really would like to keep the car, much sweat and many tears have gone into it in the two years that I have owned it, in fact the car has been totally rebuilt. Unfortunately times have changed and now I have to let go of my pride and joy.

Its currently on a private plate which I will be putting back on a cert and it will be back on its G plate.

There are no faults with the car that I know of, everything works as it should. There is a little paint fade on the bonnet and wing, this will not cost much to sort out and was on my do to list.

After that I was planning on an interior retrim and a bigger brake kit over the current 280mm brembos.

The forged engine was fitted a year ago at Z autos in Nottingham, the car was almost totally rebult and the owner is a good friend.

So far here is her spec over the stock features;

369.8 BHP @ 5391 rpm / 398.7 ibft @ 3740 rpm (16 psi boost)

These are proven figures, not made up!

Its on pistonheads for £6999

There are not many z32's with forged engines around.

So its got forged rods and crank too then mate?

The spec only lists a set of JE's on a seemingly otherwise stock rebuilt bottomend?

Rods are Eagle I believe, crank is stock (as they all are on z32's), bearings are oem but new and have no play etc. The engine has done 10k since it was built with no problems and 3k in my car since last year.

I bought the engine complete from rodders25, a member of the 300zx forum, I then had the heads removed and checked, JE logos on the pistons clearly visable and we measured the bores. 87.5mm means its 2990cc over the stock 2960cc.

We checked the bearings and rods before it was reassembled with the new cosmic headgaskets, arp bolts and new pumps.

The gearbox is stock but has low miles and new oil, very smooth with short shifter. The RPS clutch has done about 3000 miles with no problems at all, the prop shaft was custom made and is less than helf the weight of the stock item.

The car was then stripped and rewired, air con, hicas, egr, aiv all removed.

I stripped the dash out (big job on a z32!) fitted brand new heater matrix and clutch booster, removed the air con matrix.

The total spent just on the engine build was £4700, turbos were £900.

Clutch was £350, prop another £200.

All the other work came to over £2000, about a week of labour, including the hids, hicas cancel bar, new ball joints, track rod arms etc. It was then 4 wheel aligned and then setup on the dyno at Noble motorsports.

I then added the intercoolers and went for a second setup session at Noble, pulls well no problems at all at 16 psi.

I have recipts for all the above and some photos of the build.

This is one solid car, pretty much everything is new and uprated.

This engine came out of my Zed after I sold it to the previous owner. I can definately vouch that this is an excellent engine. It was the best Zed I owned out of three of them. It also got the highest speed of the day on the Jtuner thrash at Bruntersthorpe from a standing start, I think about 160mph, with more to go if the straight was longer.
The guy who bought the car had a bit of a nightmare with silly thing like split hoses behind the engine and he lost faith in the car and broke it (RIP as it was genuinely one of the best around ).

Cheers Royal, I remember asking you about it before I bought it.

Its certainly proved to be a good buy, pulls well on the rollers and did me proud at santa pod recently.

Shame really that i wana get into drifting properly and need some money for house etc
