yeah i got an email telling me i didn't win and it went for £2800 but if you click the listing now it says it was removed so ebay must've stepped in somewhere  bit weird though i've never heard of ebay wanting the fee's upfront  , that aint on if you ask me cos it aint how it works  i am genuinely gutted though if you would've let it go for £2800 cos i could've easily afforded that when i was in the market for it  i love this car and im really supprised that it aint sold yet, especially as it now looks like you'll take less than £3k for it.

well for all the wannabe columbos out there why dont you ask ebay what they did? as i cant, unless i pay £117 in fees which im not going too as i think its a little bit unfair for anyone that interested in actually purchasing the JUST CALL me as only 1 person has out of the 9000+ that have clicked on this thread it looks like this will have to be an insurance job

Im just screwing at ebay for ruining a perfectly good auction and closing my account, anyone in my position would be if they were trying to sell a car too. It doesnt help when all people seem to be interested in are ebays policys when they could just contact me to ask about the car . . Which is amazing! unike ebay. Well so far you know who won the bidding at £2800... you know I was second down... Jack said he was bidding on it too... so straight away thats some interest there! When I texted you about it you sounded well mardy and reading this it sounds it too which kinda put me off. Your ebay account only had 0 feedback if I remember correctly so what you losing out on? By selling it outside of ebay you are saving the fees! Fuck ebay and their fees, stop with the moaning and sell your car rather than trying to get people to chase you for it. Dont mean to sound like a c*nt, you just go to grasp the situation and get on with it. If the bidding wasn't high enough for you then just say that on here so the people who are interested know where they stand. |

I didnt even see who won the auction I was at work till 0030 that night and now my account is locked down Why not just call me . . its hard to reply to texts when driving / working etc this may come across as 'Mardy' but only if your over sensitive its SO much easier to talk over the phone and all qustions can be answered simply if you call me you will se im not 'Mardy' at all i just want to sell the car but its kind of hard when only 1 person has bothered so far Is this unresaonable to expect someone interested in buying a car may want to speak to the seller in person? anyway im off to work now

You know I saw this car once when I bought something of him, I remember it well. If I wasnt so in love with yanks I'd back it as it's definately got the yank "a lot of flash for not much cash" image. He was a reasonable chap with me, we had a good natter at the time. I can see why he's screwing tho. Ebay have been d*cks to me in the past for no reason, but cumon guys look how long this thread is? The man obviously wants to sell this car the good old fashioned way number in the ad come and view sorta thing. Its a well reasonable price for a manual V8 weapon just look at it. At this rate he'll spend more time on here than the conversion took! |
