^^ Don't worry man, i'm very very aware of how good a deal it is, even with a poorly motor! Rough price on fixing the lump? I don't understand the magic you see!

Depends what damage has been done... if it is a tip chances are it will need a new rotor housing that is £600+ on its own, then the re-build if you do it yourself its only a few hundred really if your careful but if you get it done for you it can be a 2K+ job...

yea im not 100% what dammage is done or howbad the damage is all i know is it still runs all be it very very lumpy...
i spoke to hayward rotary and was just going to get them to do everything, remove engine, fully rebuild it with 3mm uprated apex seals, street port it and re fit it all
that came out at near £3000 but gives you a brand new 380bhp capable engine with a garentee for 2 years..

puting that into prospective iv spent £4000 on my sr20det which has no garentee... well worth it in my mind just for piece of mind and a all round awsome engine..
or get a second hand low milage engine and drop it streight in much cheaper but it was the 2 year warrenty that grabbed my attention

I have a sneaking suspicion that the warranty even covers track and drag use, though not competitively. Though I'd ask hayward rotary about that first.

free bump
