Smile Looking to Part Exchange with a drift car -600bhp RB Motorsport Built Skyline R32 GTR

Hi all,

I've added my GTR to pistonheads already (Nissan : Skyline R32 GTR / 600hp + / RB Motorsport Built) and I'll also add the description below.

In basic I'm looking to part exchange my Skyline GTR (up for 9k) for a well prepped drift car worth no more than £5,000 with the remainder to be paid in cash. Of course I'll accept a straight sale also! If anyone is interested then please get in contact either via email, PM or phone. I can also supply more pictures if needed

I will consider anything JDM and drift spec. The GTR is priced to sell with no offers, I've put the absolute minimum I will take for her to avoid confusion. Considering some have near stock GTR's for the same money I think it's priced very competitively considering the engine build at RB Motorsport alone cost more than what I am asking for the entire car.

Anyhow please see below:

Nissan : Skyline R32 GTR / 600hp + / RB Motorsport Built

Continued.....

I am sure there are items I have missed but this should give you a really good understanding of the car. It was built primarily for fast road and response with minimal lag making it an excellent fast road car. The Boost controller has 4 settings from 0.9 bar to 1.4 bar. The lowest setting is ideal for street and city driving, with the top boost setting being better suited to long roads or circuit driving as it really does pull hard.

I only use the car on weekends as have another everyday car but this GTR would be perfectly suited to everyday driving. The clutch isn't too mad and only takes a short time to get used too. As far as bad bits go there are very few, the front top mounts squeak a little when cold but goes when warm and the alternator belt squeaks when cold but again goes when warm. The belt is now new.

Overall a very impressive GTR with a huge spec list. The car is stunning in person and the pictures do not do it justice, she has great road presence, very lumpy idle and sounds immense on WOT. I have over 40 multiple pictures if needed, please ask and I will send these to you via email.

The car is priced to sell and has had in excess of £30,000 spent on here so offers extremely good value for money. The engine rebuild came to more than what the car is being sold for!

Price £8995.00 . . . I am interested only in part exchanges for drift cars worth no more than £5,000 (remainder in cash) or a straight cash sale. PS13's, S13, S14, 200SX, Skyline GTS etc. It has to be modified for drift I would not like OEM stock examples.
If anyone has any questions then please don't hesitate to fire them across I am more than happy to help.

Proof of insurance must be provided in order to test drive. If you are genuinely interested in a viewing, please call me or send an email/PM. If no answer please leave a message with your name and number and I will call you back when free or alternatively send an email.

Many thanks,

T

Thanks Dave appreciate the comment

Your S15 is gorgeous as well but too nice for drift practice, I'm still learning hence I want something a little cheaper and a little less precious!

That R32 is an absolute bargain for the money - if only it was for sale when I was trying to find a good example.

Hey all,

Just wanted to say I'm not interested in straight swaps it has to be a 5k drift car and below with the remainder in cash or a straight sale.

Sorry to anyone who wanted to do a straight swap.

I followed this car into the JAE main area car park/stand bit a few years ago (in a Saab promptly got told to jog on). It was the first car of the show I saw, and by the end of the day, it was by far my favourite car of the entire show.

I have zero funds, but if I did, they would go on that R32

Hey mate,

No your right I looked at the invoices and it just says GT2860 turbo's my mistake I thought they were HKS as I copied and pasted the spec list from when I bought her adding in the bits I've done and it stated HKS. I'll edit it now. The old 2540's were HKS hence the confusion.

I didn't have the work done it was the chap before me. He was in the army and became stationed abroad hence he sold as he didn't use it much after the build (if I'd spent 10k I would have stayed at home!). Before the rebuild the car made 566bhp @ 1.4 bar of boost with the smaller turbos with graphs.

After the forged rebuild the new turbos were bigger (2860's compared to the old 2540's) and the engine is fully rebuilt by RB so think an extra 34bhp isn't un-realistic for a fresh engine and fresh turbos, they just couldn't tell me exactly as it was road mapped. If you do a little search on GTR that seems to be the ball park figure for these turbos with the spec list.

Also before the rebuild and before the bigger turbos she did a 11.5 down Santa pod in 2006 to give you some idea on how quick this car is. I've never run it but would imagine 11's would be feasable with the better spec she has now.

This is the first chap who imported it in 2006 and paid 13k before engine work and added parts:

566 bhp 32GTR - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

Engine was rebuilt last year and the chap then went off in the army.

Any more questions don't hesitate to ask more than happy to help.

Kind Regards,

M

Well clean and drift don't really go together but I'll consider most cars, R32, R33, S13, S14, PS13, Chaser, Soarer etc etc.

Are you the chap with the R33 GTS T? If so it's a really nice car but just has too little in the way of engine mods would really need at least 400hp in a R33 as they are huge. I did have a chap coming with a nice R32 GTS T but he blew the turbo on the way back from Spa and I'm waiting to hear if he can still afford to fix it and offer the cash in part ex I was looking for.

If I don't get any decent offers over the next few weeks you guys can come down and I will take a look, if you can offer a little more cash then it's a possbility as I can then afford to get a bigger turbo and do some engine work. Otherwise at present I just don't have the funds as I need to reinvest in my business hence I'm looking for a cheaper drift car with a nice spec where I don't have to spend a lot over the short term.

Thanks,

M

Have you thought about spending less moneys worth on a drift car mate? 400bhp is pretty much verging on pro-level cheat powers. You wouldn't be able to use it properly learning. You can pick up a fully drift spec S13/14, R32 or 33 for a couple of grand. Plus you can get a more than adequate learners car for less than a grand. Just a thought, although appreciate you're looking to sell yours.
