hi , will there be any tyre changing facility ? or the tyre vans who change the tyres and also have some spares with them? Thank you
One of the events I went to last year there was another event taking place with people camping ,would we be able to camp the night before as its a fair drive from nottingham . And yes there is tyre changing when I went
they also sell part worn tyres on site? I usually relay on Mint tyres or other companies which come with spare tyres for sale on site.
It's higher than 4k for the sound test if you have an Sr, it's a percentage of the rev range, every time I've been tested at snett it's been 5K. They are pretty strict on static test yeh.
i wont be able to make the 6th April any more would anyone like to take my space for a discounted amount.
how much seat time do you get at snetteton, thinking of doing one of these during the 3 month break from dwyb at pod? Also how suited is the track to a na mx5
its Open Pit Lane - - - Updated - - - there were a few MX5s last time i went as well as the usual Jap and BMW
I struggle with the big left hander and I have 230hp at the wheels in my 5. But that said, it's an awesome track, and you'll have a blast, just use the big corner and straight to let the tyres cool.
Does anyone know where we can leave feedback for Snetterton drift days. I spoke to a super nice guy at the end of the Snet drift day who gave the morning briefing. He was asking about feedback and asked if we could leave some. However not been able to find anywhere to submit.
they sent me an email asking for feedback. I though the day was spoilt by the 'only drift within the cones' rule.
TBH judging by most of the driving through the day and the amount of yellow and red flags i'd say the no drifting between cones was the only reason i managed 2 laps the whole day where i could drift every corner.
Me too. I only caused 1 flag (about 11am) but it was a bloody long red one. Really sorry all who were waiting. My rear wheel fell off middle of Palmer (last corner) I'm still baffled as to what caused it, mid drift, didn't hit anything, nuts all torqued up. Snapped all 5 wheel studs & it took ages to lift it on to the truck. It was pretty grippy but no grippier than Lydden which I'd done on the Saturday. Apologies again for holding it up, I'd been getting pissed off with the number the flags up to that point as conditions were perfect. Good to see it busy up there this time
Genuine issues can't be avoided fella. Ive sent feedback to Snetterton but i'm not going back again until either they do sessions based on drift experience like Lydden do or it goes back to how it was where it was aimed at specific experience. I'e beginner, intermediate and advanced Shame since snetterton was my fav track for seat time.
