Most unusual... Got a few contestants that I've seen live myself. Not in any particular order:

Pretty much stock El Camino, 350cid V8, automatic, footpedal e-brake hard in use.

Fwd Corolla converted to rwd, Sierra V6 engine with Eaton SC, stuff sticking out through the bonnet.

Toyota Carina, Mercedes 5-cylinder turbodiesel engine and tons of mad scientist stuff all over, does really well with it too
Nissan Silvia S12, the grip machine

The Sierra P100s were a nice sight, walton smith smoked the shit out of one years back which was cool to see. It's hard to think of something different now. I liked my Opel Kadett, never saw anything like it at a drift day. I'm 110% bored with seeing any nissan, toyota bladeblabla going sideways now. Infact, I'm more impressed by seeing an S chassis NOT drifting now.

My convertible Onevia, there arent anymore of those in Europe. And its pretty and drifts good

The ones that stick in my mind are from UKD1 days, James Cock IIRC had a Rally prepped TR8 and there was this one off Lotus bathtub thing that gave probably the worst performance Ive ever seen. And Ive seen a few bad ones.

Mr Nick wins at being original though, Isuzu Piazza @ Silverstone, Manta in Lightnings post and aformentioned DB7 too
