Aftermarket Sr20 det throttle body

I have bought this throttle body on ebay but when i was trying to fit it the longer bronze thingie is blocking the throttle pulley off. Just wondering anyone had fitted this throttle body before can give me some advice what to do ?

Hmmmm don't understand what you mean, are you using a stock plenum?

Thats not a stock plenum. and I also think he's holding it upside down.

Which makes it not an SR20DET throttlebody/plenum, as that vac would be wrong side/and the throttle body would be upside down.
