I'm pretty sure I've heard in the past there is a way to upgrade/alter a clutch to make it engage with less force. Not engage sooner, but easier so I don't think it would be just adjusting clutch play. Thanks for any info

Think you may be mistaken,I used to work for a custom clutch and flywheel company, kestral transmission in case neone wondering.
You can over center the clutch by removing stock from the pressure plate side of the clutch this in turn places more pressure to your disc giving more clamp, however to make the clutch easier would entail changing the diaphragm spring to give less resistance on the pedal, not simple to say the least.
You could however fit a larger master cylinder to the slave system taking the force out of the pedal but not affecting the clutch.

    How's that sir?

Change the leverage ratio at the pedal, make the two pivot points closer together. Just make sure the clutch fully disengages.
