    Hi guys,
i´m not completely new to drifting but i´m looking to get my first own drift car. Since there are sooo much e30 in germany drifting i thought, why not to get something different. Then i found the merc 190 2.6 with 160 HP compared to the e30 325 with 170 hp. I can´t believe that it´s the 10 more HP that makes a e30 a better drift car...
so what do you think, is a 190 also a great drifter or why is it not?!

There's a lot more to a car being good than BHP figures. If it's your first drift car stick with the tried and tested route, get an E36 325 / 328. Easy to fix, parts are cheap and maintenance is simple.

If you can find a cheap, rust free (in the right places) 190 buy it. It will be a good car.

What makes a better drift car is the fact E30s have tons of bits for them, and are quite small and light cars as RWD cars go.

E30, E46 purple tag rack, increased castor lollypop arms (ideally solid ones), etc, and they're awesome handling fun cars.

Yeah, I have no trust to Mercedes... e30 or e36 should be fine for a good start :)

whatever is cheap and works for you.
I personally don't like the seating position in merc's but they come with good lock out the box unlike an e30 but if your just starting out lock is the least of your concern..
