The engines, the rust......dont really leave a lot else does it lol......

Sills are noturious for rusting, engines are renowned for throwing big end shells.....take someone who knows cars and mechanics along with you, as long as it aint tapping its arse out, it should be ok, but make them aware what you're wanting to use it for so they can adivse if they think that condition of car will be up to the job......

/\ Loser! haha.

I'd say yeah get it if you can afford it, they are nothing like as reliable/simple as an e36, but parts are very common and upgrades are easy (although not necessarily cheap, it just seems that they are).

Your popularity has nothing to do with your car.

An s13 isn't really that fast standard, so you shouldn't die unless you're a dick. Then again you smashed up an e36 so who knows, make sure you write your will.

I had my S14a at 19 and it was fine. Just be careful and respect the car and all will be good

That was coming from a single cam civic too, so no RWD experience

i had my standard r33 gtst at 19, and a 450bhp gtst at 20 which im now selling for something cheaper (an s13 actually). ive had a few dodgy moments as anyone in high power rwd cars does but ive never stacked it. the s13 will be good though cos i can start giving it some proper manfoot without worrying about ruining my 7k car!! plus it means i get to spend 4 months in sydney with the monies....wooo....
