Done quite a bit of research into them (as i did with other engines while choosing the one i wanted) they are a serious engine. But i will stop rabbiting on untill i have actually built it and had it produce some good power figures. Untill then, it's all bolocks because i have never actually done it myself or seen one running big power with my own eyes. Lots of incouraging stories, pictures, dyno videos and build's though. Very exciting!

My feelings are that the VH45 will perform very well indeed But it's all speculation untill i can back it up with some figures.

| just like to say i love my CA! purely because i got it with unknown mileage, bit rough, leaks oil all over the place, so decided i would drive it to destruction whilst i work on another one. since then ive done 6 track days, god knows how much "private practice" and absolutely fricking abused it, probably got about 4 different flavours of oil in it at the moment, and if im honest i rarely actually bother to warm it up, and the fricking thing is still going strong! never missed a beat, one missfire issue and that was due to water in plugs. my previous CA was also very impressive, ran a disco potato at 1.4bar, with nismo injectors and power fc (and all relevant supporting mods) on a standard bottom end with no dramas. im no mechanic by a long way, but my experience of CA's has been pretty trouble free, and ive owned 6 S13's now ranging from £100 shitters to £5000 monsters! |
