| doughnutter | Welded diff for the road Are welded diffs really that bad to use on the road?? I know the points about tyre wear and a little more noise.. but are they really un-drivable on the road. I have heard good and bad stories but so many people are now saying its bad to use on the road.... Your opinions? |

| not being funny mate but if you have to ask a question like that, change your username to something other than drift mechanic!! however seeing as youve asked, yes welders are fine for normal driving, ive had a mig spec diff on my last three cars and its absolutely fine, dont even notice its there. its like the whole "is rear wheel drive going to kill me" a car will do what you tell it to, its no more no less, its not herbie! |
