I've been waiting for this. I'll definitely be at Teeside on the 18th if it's on.

Dave, Is it ok to run over and have the noise levels tested before the practice day??

We have a bung for exhaust but I'd like to be sure before the day in case mods are required.
Cheers Eddie

Don't see why. Most tracks have a 96 or 98db limit

Yup PS13, no problem.
I dont think anyone should worry, my 34 has 4" straight through pipe on it and it passed no problems, if you have heard my car it is loud.

Thats great man, I thought the PS13 was a bit loud so wasn't sure. May get a fabricated bung just in case though.

Thanks for the replies Guys. 101dba is not really very loud and as Rob said that's still higher than any restricted test day. Just a bit of inside information here for you - the circuit can only run 6 (i think) 'noisy' days a year as long as we give good warning to the council in advance. The fact that I have stipulated a limit shows the council we are trying to regulate the noise. However, as we all know, tyre squeel is a lot worse round here on a dry day than exhaust noise.

As for bringing your car down for a noise test - shouldn't be a problem any day but probably best to ring the office first on 01642 231117.

Also, the main track will definately be in use as a whole circuit however the number of cars allowed on at any one time will be restricted. I think 4 cars at a time running for 5-6 laps each should give everyone plenty of track time.
