| Thanks for the replies Guys. 101dba is not really very loud and as Rob said that's still higher than any restricted test day. Just a bit of inside information here for you - the circuit can only run 6 (i think) 'noisy' days a year as long as we give good warning to the council in advance. The fact that I have stipulated a limit shows the council we are trying to regulate the noise. However, as we all know, tyre squeel is a lot worse round here on a dry day than exhaust noise. As for bringing your car down for a noise test - shouldn't be a problem any day but probably best to ring the office first on 01642 231117. Also, the main track will definately be in use as a whole circuit however the number of cars allowed on at any one time will be restricted. I think 4 cars at a time running for 5-6 laps each should give everyone plenty of track time. |
