| Oh well, if you cut them right they'll be fine. Mine dislocate by a good 4" and they are fine I only have a few coils left at the front, and when sitting on the ground, the upper spring perch is very nearly sitting on the top of the strut housing (no bumpstop). This is why I now realise I need proper coilovers to get any lower Lucky I have some Gaz items on order, just gotta find £488! |

| Joshy - don't buy them new. I picked up 2 front struts with jamex dampers in and 40mm springs, and 2 jamex rear dampers, and 2 40mm drop rear springs for £50. Bargain I thought. Here's todays efforts, fronts fitted, but also chopped down a coil and a half each, as I said, cut to the stage where they JUST don't dislocate. Rear dampers, but not springs fitted yet, quite liking the rake look But do need to fit the rears to even the ride out a little atm, it sits uneven for some reason, not down to the dampers, must be the springs?![]() ![]() Last edited by Papercutout : 13-05-2008 at 16:20. |
