I agree with the above, keep a keen eye out for a wrecked 325i and buy it for the full swap.
I had a £140 325i on my drive last week that had a good engine and box. Id of expected to pay at least £200 for an engine so it defo works out cheaper that way.

ive gotta 2 door e30 318 with a welded diff for sale. long tax & test £350o.n.o it's on a d plate which means you can get classic car insurance £140 tpft i pay. im 24 got 3 points and made a claim in the last year
