What is the path to take to the BDC?

I just want to find out what is the route to take to get yourself into the BDC. Lets assume i have a BDC approved car, i have the basics of drifting and that i am thick skined so can take the embarrassment when i come last.

Is it
1) Get a drift licence?? I assume this is different to a race licence and where do you go to get one?
2) Get your name on the BDC list for 2009. How do i do this and when by?
3) Get the car checked over to make sure it will pass scrutanears?

Is this right or is there anything else i have missed.

Cheers
Adam

1) Check new and events section for dates of next licencing days

2) contact Sweeps on here or via site British Drift Championship

3) You can get car 'pre scrutineered' when you go for you licence

4) Get as much seat time as you can afford - go hungry if you have to, food is overrated anyway

Yup, that's pretty much it.
Seat time is the key, do as much drifting as you can .

thats what sums it all up really ..
get as much seat time as possible before the next licence day.
as lex said contact sweeps or BDC admin on here .. both will be found in the BDC section at the top of the forum index.
its £92 per round
£5 for you photocard licence
and the entry fees for your licence days range depending on where its held

all details of events etc can be found on the BDC section or the website ... British Drift Championship

hope this helps

Ant
