the turbo 7's have plenty of torque, which can alway be added at a later date so that is not the problem.

And as it has a perfect weight distrobution, they are easier to spin out in comparison to the the front heavy silvia's. Also the back end wont step out as far as easily. Though harder to drift, they can be much more rewarding

just use a lower gear

also the fd's have low down torque, unless you want torque at about 1500revs

Lol, at you 2 having it off...!

An RX7 is a good alternative for multiple reasons, but like all cars it has faults, your best bet if you are actually interested in one is to try to get out there and try it.

Some photo's of the S14 in question would go down well...

Depends on how much money you have to play wth too...

even my 6 weeks old doughter knows s14 are most rewarding and easiest cars to drift

as for RX7... DtheBUK - here's why they are so good:

loads of power and torque - you can easily run them at 450bhp and 350ft - no sweat
perfect weight distribution and VERY light
very low center of gravity - they are one of the lowest cars
they make awesome noise

now why they are not so good:

short wheelbase - combined with loads of power = handful, not good for learners,
lack of lock - everyone will tell you - not much angle which again with loads of power not the best combination
reliability - they tend to be temperamental...
costs - you need to own petrol garage to run RX7 on the track...

but...

they are one of the most beautiful cars - they look and sound and perform...

Well the 7's are not s14's and there more of a challenge....hence the reason for suggesting them.

Seriously mate, Im no pro skidder, but I also know what Im doing, or shall we say what Im supposed to be doing, so if you're roughly in the same boat or a few boats ahead I cant see how you have out grown this car. I have a 14 and the're great.........

Is it you're bored of the car, or actually bored of drifting it, if its the latter I doubt that statement would compute much around here and even I struggle to understand it if that is the case.....

How is your car set up ? Shocks ? Diff ? etc....... ?

Maybe setting your car up better could be slightly more rewarding while drifting.......

Apart from that I think you should get yourself along to Lydd or Pod or somewhere cause seriously as for getting bored, not a chance in hell......
