Newera parts and Works wheels...

Anyone had any experience of ordering wheels from Newera parts???

Im after a set of Work Emotion CR Kai's for the 15 and newera are about the only place I can find that do the offsets and Colour im after.

If I order through them can I expect to be whacked with import duty once they arrive as the website doesnt really make it very clear.. Unless im being blind!!!

Any input or experiences from you guys will be a big help

Cheers

As your importing things, theres a very good chance you will have to pay import tax on them.

Heard nothing but good things about neweras service.

I dont think you have to pay charges on top as Newera ships them from Japan to their UK offices and then ships them out to you from there.

You wont receive it direct from Japan.

Thats what I was told when I was going to order something from them anyway, but I'd double check first

All theyre prices inc Shipping/VAT/Customs etc etc..
I know as im waiting for my XD9s. Miguels an awesome bloke, cant recommend him highly enough... Will reply to your E-Mails quickly, and will help out as much as possible.

Probably wouldnt go anywhere else for wheels now.. (Providing they turn up )

I know Bryn (sideways.taff) has a good relationship with the company too, as he recommended them to me in the first place

Thats Kinda what I was hoping for as their site kinda suggest the final price is the final price.

Coolio

Mines slightly different, as ive had some made up in 4 stud, so they quoted me 5-8 weeks for production and shipping (that was from April 25th, when payment was sent).

They quote 5-7 days i believe from Japan to your door, if theyre in stock. Mine are all made up now, and expecting them in the UK next week, so ill find out how long it'll be once they arrive, but ive heard good stories about theyre delivery times, so id happily trust that 5-7days would be met.

Whatever Miguel quotes you is what you'll pay for delivery to their Eastbourne premises, you can then sort out either going to pick the parts up from there or get them sent from there to you. There are no hidden charges and no worries about having to pay extra VAT or Import charges when they arrived as they are included in the quotation. Honestly, Miguel is one of the two best suppliers I've had the pleasure of doing business with. I've had no hassles with him and he's been fantastic at getting exactly what I want when I want it.

I had to wait about a month for my XD9's to get made for me as they were as I requested "the widest and lowest offset 18's" so they're not stocked. Once they'd been delivered to the office in Japan I was sent photos that displayed the manufacturing date and given the option of shipping or air freight. I went for the more expensive air freight option and had them delivered to my door, they were here within a week. Awesome service from a top importer. I cannot recommend Miguel and Newera highly enough.

thats odd
when i got my new wheels from new era they came straight from japan and customs nabbed the boxes and made me declare what the value of the goods was so i got stung on the import tax but was also under the impression that the price i saw was the price i paid.it took about 2 weeks for the parcel to get from work's to new eras place in japan then a week to get to the uk then like 2 weeks for customs to mess me around.when you look on the parcelforce website it says that alot of companys say there prices include the taxes but goes onabout export taxes.my boxes were labeled up as used car parts so i guess he just blaggs the system as they go for the expensive looking stuff.

not more xd9's
