Lydden Hill initiations :)

Just been looking at the google view of the track to see the initiation points we were getting yesterday. You can't see them very well in the only video thats popped up as the gradient and angles are a bit obscured due to the viewpoint. We were initiating before the bottom of the hill and went through the dip sideways and up hill to the apex of the corner. I reckon the arrow in the map view shows the point we initiated shame there was no one videoing. Next one should be more peeps

With enough power and balls there are only two points of initiation on this track, and they're arrowed in yellow That, from memory, was what Buff, RetroDan, TooLoudTom etc were doing at the JDM AllStars/BHP Performance demo

Everything else is linkable, in fact, you could link the whole track, but you'd need Phil's or Bon's level of power to do it

This track offers something for EVERYONE and I'm surprised more people haven't cottoned on to that yet

I wish I'd at least tried it like that now but the tyres were dissapearing at the blink of an eye. Brand new tyres were not even lasting the fifteen minute session if we skidded every corner let alone manjying down the straights. Apart from the first few sessions I wasn't even bothering manjying up the hill and skidding the little 2nd gear corner at the top, let alone manjying back down to paddock bend. To stretch the big hill out into a single manjy like you've drawn there is proper big skills hardcore, I'm actually surprised its do-able as its so long! If we're talking about linking them I reckon you could easily link paddock into the big corner as well if you grew tyres under your armpits , don't know if you could carry enough speed to get around the big corner then though?

retro dan managed to link the start line and carry it through by going right over to the right of the track roughly where the arrow is. Now I know hudson wont agree with the line but buffy liked the lot doing it (oh and ignore the wobbly bits not that easy doing it in draw lol)

Looks amazing whatever, with all this talk of tyres I'd better get some good'uns in stock as 4th gear is going to KILL THEM.

I'm itching to get back there now to try and link it all up! I was too worried about conserving tyres as it went through them so quick when I was doing every corner. I can't imagine you'd get more than a couple of laps out of a set of tyres if you linked it all up like that? I wish I'd seen you guys at the JDM demo now, I just can't stand watching drifting when I can't drive !

3 laps isn't bad as I only made 4 runs at Knockhill killing a pair of tyres, that's only 3 corners

Just gotta stack the cars HIGH for this one assuming it stays dry

I don't reckon BDC will be anywhere near as bad on tyres with the cut down track, should be just like Teeside I expect?

I got away with drifting the top right horseshoue without getting black flagged (unlike Brad and Mr Nick) at public track time BHP but as for the rest of the track (which we wont be drifting) scared the poo out of me so i am happy with where we are skidding
