few tips wanted for first time drifting

hey all im heading to my first dwyb day at santa pod for usc in august and was just wanting to know is there tyres there for sale and also as im only a beginner will i be given the chance to learn on track wit being out wit higher classes who will be drifting around me at a lot higher speeds also i have a s13 and skyline rear brake set up wit out an hydrali hand brake will tis be suffient for drifting or will i be best of clutch kicking and finally ill be running 18s on the front and 16s on the back will tis cause any bad in balance in the car or would i be better putting 16s on the front as well

Yeah there are tyres there, something like £5 each + £2 disposal.
You can get instruction from the marshals, they will ask in the briefing who wants help, you start in the figure 8 playpen and move up to kidney track then big track so you wont get people drifting round you. only cones to hot.
with the wheels, as long as the actual radiuses are simular you will be fine ie high profile on the 16 low on the 18s.

cheers man sounds like fun its not tomorrow im heading its the 1st to the third of august threes days of drifting and drag racing hope the car survives it usually how many go out on track at time just curious as they sound like fun days and im defo doing tis one

im from ireland and woundn be tat interested in going for the one day as the expense and all tat i was trying to catch a show drift and do a few drags runs all in the one weekend

the last few events at the pod i went to at the end of the day they were letting some beginers on and theres great advise at hand from the experts 2 pm me if your going !!! worth meetin up.

Lad if its your first day then there is no better place than bishopscourt in co down on sunday 10th of aug loads of track time and it wont cost you f all its a long drive but great crack.
