are r33 any good standard?

im going to go see a r33 gts tomorrow, its a 400r replica and looks bad to the bone but its nearly standard its on tien coilovers but thats it that i no of it may well have the standard diff.

what do thay drift like out the box?

and how shit are the standard diffs are thay as bad as s14 diffs?

what adjustable arms would be the first on your list to turn it into a good drift car?

many thanks
Matt

very easy cars to drift, mine was a similar spec to yours. Standard diff was a bit of a weak point, but didn't hold it back much

ow good coz my last two cars the supra and s14 where good but the diffs where wank so im ether gunna weld it or buy a good second hand 2way.

any advise on the suspension geometry or will it be fine as it is with a decent diff?

also is there anyway of me checking what diff it has when i go to buy ie standard or aftermarket? i understand 2ways clunk so that would be a clue lol

I thought the standard r33 diff was absolute shite, although ive never driven with a standard s14 diff. I had a 2 way in my last r33 and it was sooo much better. Apart from that they are awesome cars as standard imo.

I second that. My R33 standard diff was POO. I thought my S14 diff was alot tighter. But that could be just because of wear to both diffs.

I've got a welder in mine and coilovers. Not much more done to it yet. Drifts very well. Although i've found my clutch isn't all that. Slips when clutch kicking in 3rd.

Have you got any power increasing mods? I found that as soon as i started putting more power through my first R33 the clutch gave up almost straight away. The standard r33 clutches are a bit poo for strength anyway, get a max puk
