Get Bon to the USA! - Drifting forum

Our hero, young Bonador of Boninatoringville has 99.9% won the EDC, all he needs to do is turn up in Poland and drive the track and he has it in the bag. Hoorah.

He has been invited to go to the RedBull World Championships, at the beginning of November, in Long Beach, California . Which is a dream come true, and also a fantastic opportunity to go over and own some Americans, Japanese and various other Johnny Foreigners in the bright orange smoke machine.

I think he's got a chance to properly win the event, and want to do my upmost to get him out there. I'd imagine that there are others on this forum with the same sense of pride about our young ginge/baldy mentalist, who some of us have seen grow up from the impetuous little teenage shit, into a fine young man that he is today

Anyway, the point of this ramble. Does anyone want to join me in donating bits of cash, so that we can get the Chaser and Ben out to LA, and make his (and Laura's!) life a little more comfortable?

Just for your info, Bon doesn't know I'm doing this, and in no way is this anything to do with Driftworks LTD. I would have done this post even if my name wasn't bright orange

do we/he have any idea of a target value and deadline for arranging finance?? just to give us a clue of the scale of the operation

I've no idea what targets and costs etc are. Like I said it's kinda a surprise to LeBon.

Still, I thought it was a good idea to get set-up, in case there are any issues like with Phil and co with D1

Costs aren't 100% settled yet, getting quotes for everything and trying to get the best deals at the moment, but it's lots!!!! And as they say, every little helps.
