all down to budget and power imo.

If you want big power then an fd will most likely work out cheaper
If you're on a budget and dont need 400+ bhp then FC is the way to go.

Other than that is all down to looks

Saying that ive only drifted an FC, but what from what i understand from other peoples comments is that theyre very similar.

FD is more expensive and has a better chassis with more grip. That arguably makes it a little harder to drift. You can do whatever you want power wise with either so not really an issue. FD feels more like a proper race car.

I think you'll be trying to copy me, that's what. And yes, I know no one has seen it, but I own it, and it'll be on the road soon!

Why would an FD be better for power than an FC? Much of a muchness when it comes to tuning.
Can get an FC under 1000kg without too much issue, which is nice.

TBH ive no idea whats best, ive driven tons of FDs, but only ever my FC. My FC is amazing, but its SO modified, esp chassis and suspension, I wouldnt know if less mental ones are even close to being as good.

    Here--

Though some more stuff is changed from the spec on that link now, all engine, heres an up to date, but untidy, pic...

You're right about the block, though the problem is more with fab work from what ive read of others experiences. Theres just more parts available when it comes to big power FD's where the FC's are more bespoke.

Like what? Ive not seen a thing youd need to make bespoke for one than the other?
Less FC experience in the UK, but the UK is a joke of a rotary world anyhow, in the grand scheme of things everything seems the same tuning wise, be it FC or FD.

As Stavros said, i dont know of many/any limitations with FCs over FDs ? I suppose the tuners have various standard solutions more proven for FDs but they are all easy enough to emulate on an FC as far as I know.

Are the FC cars any more reliable engine wise than the FD's or is there not much difference between them?
